He had woke up damp from the rain that seemed to roll in overnight. His fur slicked ever so slightly and giving away his built but lean frame. It was pointless to try and dry himself off despite how badly he wanted to. The rain, despite how light it was, seemed content on continuing on for some time. So he decided to fight off the chill of the fall morning air and cold rain by taking a stroll. His large paws ate up at the ground, covering areas he didn't know. He thought he had smelled a pack nearby but between the rain and his lack of knowledge with the place he had gotten turned around a bit too much. Leaving him to lose track of its location.
Something consumed him though and sent a shiver down his spine.
The temperature around him suddenly felt absolutely freezing. Yet he had not heard the whistle of wind or the rustle of leaves to indict a cold front was here. It had simply...appeared. Needless to say it unsettled the large Tainn. His golden eyes suddenly glancing around as if there might be something - or someone - to blame nearby.

After her interaction with the tawny boy out west, Auri had headed aimlessly eastward. It had taken six days for her to reach where she was at - longer than it would have likely taken most other wolves. But with her mind going a million miles an hour and distracting her so, it had certainly taken her a while longer.
The woods here were thick and beautiful, and Auri enjoyed the way the cool rain dropped down off of the fronds and slicked her fur down. It was almost too cold to enjoy a nice morning rain, but Auri didn’t mind.
She didn’t mind, of course, until she stepped into something that felt like ice water, even though it was simply the air.
Glancing around from where she was standing, she could see a black wolf through the underbrush. He looked as perplexed as she was, herself, so she decided to approach him and speak.
”The forest spirits seem angry,” she supplied, stepping out of the dense undergrowth to reveal herself.

He didn't really understand the sudden chill. There had been no breeze or wind. Things just suddenly seemed to be cold. It sent a shiver down his spine. Then a strange voice called out with even stranger words.
”The forest spirits seem angry,”
Huh? He asked with a sharp raise of one brow. The Tainn was not familiar with "forest spirits" nor was he aware that a forest could feel angry. Besides, what did it have to be angry about? Maybe it caught wind of that pompous guy he had previous encountered...yeah, that was something to be angry about. Although he honestly doubted that had anything to do with this. What do you mean?
