Shrike
RE:A recent heat wave has left the forest drier than usual.

I'm forward dating this to after his meeting with vaken

Enough was enough. Shrike was tired of pussy-footing about. What had he gained since entering Relic Lore? Nothing that he couldn't have gotten anywhere else. He was starting to think this was all a farce, a massive waste of his time and effort. That made him cranky, irritable, like a caged beast who was liable to lash out at anyone or anything that came close.

He had been eyeing the pack on the lake for a while now. He was tired of watching, waiting. It was time to act. With his crew gathered close, Shrike shot them all a sharp look, one by one, so they would all know that he wasn't fucking around. Not today. He was out for something, anything, he just wanted to take.

"You follow my lead and do exactly as I command."

He knew they were capable of falling into line, of doing his bidding, but he needed it all set in stone. There would be no ifs or buts, his will was iron and at the end of the day he would get what he wanted. He always did, why would today be any different?

Borya

It was about damn time the carrion crew was doing something productive. The massive brute was tired of sitting on his ass, twiddling his thumbs like an sore idiot. He needed to sink his teeth into something and get his mind in the game. Their raven leader was finally fed up with sitting around and gathered the band together finally just outside of the place they have been scouting out the last few weeks.

The Left Hand was dutiful enough to nod when Shrike commanded their attention, in fact, Borya couldn't help be feel the adrenaline bubbled within his veins at the thought their journey was finally coming to a start. He needed a job, a plan on how they were going to do this. And he was sure Shrike had it all figured out.

Pilea Ritter
Waiting around had been tiring, straining. The woman's moral was low and for a female who had traveled most of her life sitting around in one spot was not her thing. She had left the pack life theme years ago back at her birth home. Having a band to watch her back, help her hunt, that was all fine and dandy but she wanted to move, wanted some kind of use.

Perhaps, today, Shrike would be willing to give that to her. The gang sat around idly, lazily, though as their leader stirred and met each one of them with a sharp gaze, Pilea lifted from her placement along the brush and came forward, waiting on command. Shrike could be no leader if he didn't lead and perhaps today he would be doing just that.

Anakh Rahal
He wasn’t normally quiet. In fact, Valor was the exact opposite of quiet. Obnoxious and brash; it was near impossible for the youth to keep his lips pinched tight. Unless he knew it was absolutely necessary—like now. His father wouldn’t be pleased if he foiled their plans. Things had been rather … stagnant since the Carrion Crew had arrived in the Lore. But he knew it was all part of his father’s plan. Shrike had a reason behind everything he did. Valor did not understand most of it, nor did he care to. He was just along for the ride. Moral support. The Carrion Cheerleader. And he didn’t want to be left out—or let his sister, Courage, have all the fun.

He nodded at his father, his amber gaze fixated on the ebony male. Valor wasn’t smart enough to stray away from the plan. Always a follower, never a leader.
