Elias Selwyn

As soon as he realised that Nineva and Ellery would not be joining, that his family didn't approve... He swallowed thickly as his resolve crumbled to dust. He would not hunt, he would not go against Nineva's wishes. Whether she was currently leading Vigils Keep meant nothing to the Selwyn, he had pledged himself to her and no one else. It wasn't as though he disliked Neha, he barely knew the woman, or any of the wolves in attendance here. Was it cruel of him to be unfazed by this? He supposed this was what happened when the pack consisted of such an odd mishmash of characters, it was just so hard to connect.

"I'm staying with Nineva." Was the only explanation he offered as he backed out, his ears flicked at an acute angle.

Limping over, he gave the top of Ellery's head a lick or two before he settled by Nin's side. Even now she was strong and resolute, unwavering in her beliefs. Elias truly looked up to her, tried to mimic her strength when given the opportunity. He hoped that he'd made her proud, his pudding too. He was trying to be less of a pushover, he supposed, he had little internal strength to draw from but the Hervoks gave him what he needed.

Aytigin Delaney
Aytigin skidded to a halt when he realized that most of the pack was not with them. That was a bit weird, he mused, looking back when Elias turned back with the claim he was heading back to Nineva. The darker male paused, his ears flicking from Neha, Ramiel, and Aleister to back with the others.

Was this a bad idea, when most of the pack was against it? Of course, the fact that they might provoke the Surge was there, but they needed food for the impending winter.

"If we can get it inside the borders, then Driftwood can't complain," he stated, even though they had made it very obvious that they could and would complain. Perhaps if they had listened to Aytigin on the other side of the mountain, the pack as a whole wouldnt even be in this mess at all.

The sluggish caribou piqued Ayti's interest, and he crept forward. Then, when he felt he was close enough, he propelled himself forward and aimed for the lame leg, moving his massive body between the beast and any westerly direction in an attempt to drive him east.
