The other’s voices joined him in their brief song of celebration, and it reminded him of their claiming calls. The howls echoed out across the woods even after these stopped actively singing, as if their numbers were much larger than five. Agreeing with the others with a nod that this had run probably as smoothly as it could have, certainly better than he had thought it would have run.
