And then another adult showed up! Aweho inched backwards, ears flattened, followed by his body. "Nera?" He whined again, uncertain. Both adults seemed angry. He could feel it in the air, the badness. It was an unfamiliar tension but it was very bad. He whined once more but said nothing.

Then Mama was there. Mama was there and she was angry but not at her. "Mama! Mama!" she cried, struggling in the scary Big's mouth. She heard Way say her name again, and glanced his way.
What happened? They were just playing, and now the Big was mad and Mama was mad and she and Way were scared and confused. Why?
"She was just sittin' on Aweho's head drownin' him," she explained in a flat tone with ears back, conveying clearly that this was not something she wanted to see happening again, and therefor she expected Rhae to do something to ensure that. It wasn't her job to explain to the pup that wolves needed to breathe.
Rhaegara heard her daughter call for her, and she looked more at the woman. Drowning? She looked to Enera and then to Saga’s brood. She saw the way Woya expected a lesson to be taught. “That may well be. They are pups, and they will learn and be taught.” She answered, maintaining the eye contact with the woman as she carefully reached a paw out to wrap around her daughter and pull her closer to her and away from the other woman. “However there were other ways to handle that situation than picking her up like that and hauling her off without explaining what she’s even done wrong.” It seemed counterproductive to her, and clearly her daughter was frightened.
“Little Dove, sitting on someone’s head and putting their head in the water can seriously hurt them… in the future, you shouldn’t do that.” That was much simpler of an explanation than the whole ordeal Woya had cooked up. “Aweho, are you okay now?” She asked, worried about the other pup here as well. “Does your mother know where you are?”
And then resolved, it seemed. Maybe? His pupils went big when attention was turned on him by the woman.
He shook his head, shoulders hunched to make himself small. Ma probably didn't know where he was. Was he in trouble? He really didn't wanna be...
Hurt him? Was that why he'd been being so funny? With a tentative glance at the Scary Lady, Enera quickly flopped her way around her and to Way. She gently poked him with her nose. "'Kay?" she asked. She didn't know what an apology was yet, but she was indeed sorry for hurting him, however accidental. Even though she wanted to still be hiding behind Mama instead of over here by the Scary Lady, Enera wanted to make sure her friend was okay even more.
"I'm not her mother," was her simple retort as she walked, and about all she had to say on the subject. She never agreed to be some kind of second parent for the brat. It was just one anyways, what was so hard about teaching the pup herself?
She didn't like the way the boy dodged downward like he was in trouble, it tugged at her heart strings. Woya's voice was considerably kinder as it addressed her nephew.
"It's okay buddy, rough housings over. Wanna take a break or keep playin'?"
She faulted neither child. They were long and she was willing to bet the pious figure in front of her had been far from as a child as well. Rhaegara knew she had been too, even with the scrutiny her parents had put her under from a young age to groom her to take over their reigns. Irritation coursed through her at the words. She said nothing, instead nudging her daughter along. “Come on, Little Dove, let’s go settle down.” She reckoned it might be time for a story or a nap to help her daughter settle down.
No doubt she’d soon seek out Saga if only to complain about the Macieo. She understood that she was family and all of that to Huddy, but she couldn’t help the fact that the woman drove her mad in this particular scenario. It took a village to rear a cub, and while she was far better off than Saga with only one cub, it didn’t make it easy by any means, especially when she seemed to have the very large spirit her father had seemed to have.
Unless stopped, this is Rhae’s exit, presumably with Enera
"Brk." He squeaked out, almost parrot-like. Aweho couldn't wrap his tongue around the word and he didn't quite know what it meant other than the opposite of "playing"? So, break. Brk. His tail tucked and he looked sadly at Enera. Sad that she'd done that, but sadder still that he'd gotten her in trouble and ended their playtime in such a sour way.
First she needed to figure out what she'd done wrong, so she didn't do it again.
