Cedarwood Forest Almost forgot what this feels like

Another winter was upon them. Since arriving in the lore Sharlee had grown accustomed to how it went. Though she knew it wouldn't go much different than the previous year she still hoped it might be a more milder one. Having the knowledge of how hard it could get she'd been out hunting. She wanted to make sure the caches were full before the prey became scarce.

This most recent endeavor had brought her further from home than she'd traveled in awhile. She couldn't say she was sad about it. Realizing just how much she'd needed to get away and have some time to herself for a bit.

Sharlee gave up on the hunting for a bit as she inhaled the air as if the take in the freedom through her nose. Then she looked around for anything that might be of interest.
