Everything had been lifting, improving, and then @Haunt disappeared. Like they had never existed to begin with. Sovanya searched tirelessly, desperately, and yet failed to find any of sign of what had happened to her friend nor where they had gone to. She tried telling herself that @Enera would be back any day now to help, to make things right again, but that was harder to do with every shifting of the moon's face, until altogether Sova lost her hope.
They had both left her, just like Adonya.
Withered by hunger and exhaustion, she marched south toward novel forests and what would hopefully, finally be the new start she'd been told awaited her. Every stride she convinced herself that there was still something out there to look forward to, even as food continued to prove all but impossible to scrounge up and solid, safe rest even more difficult to come by. But beneath her thoughts, down in her chest, anger was building.
