If I go crazy then will you stillcall me superman?

He held onto her icey blue eyes most ardently with his own fiery orbs as if to pull her into him from all evil things. When she did not run, but embraced against him any demons of doubt of what they had...of what Rhysis was were vanquished. He became the strong support she needed, and gentle nibbled her ears in the moments of the falling quiet where his ears were only aware of her breaths, and her heartbeats. If she could not speak further it would not shake him, but only steady him on his coarse to make her happy, to make her feel safe from the threatening torrent of chaos and danger. If his sole purpose in life was to fix this, he saw no better thing to do.

And she, though tangled against him as close as he had always wanted her to be, still felt in another place until she gently bobbed her head at his inquiry. The rush of his heart was great at the soft motion, and he curled his neck, pressing his cheek against her neck if to hold her more closely as the precious creature she was and all he wanted to be...for her. That's what would have broken him, if he could not comfort her, reassure her, be everything she needed.

There was no rush in anything, all he knew was her warm body wrapped against his, and her certainly felt like nothing could topple them from this high. He faintly smiled, while his ears fluttered to her hushed, subtle tone. Confirming it aloud only made it more solid piece within him. She must know everyone, not just him was in this. He did not see Ruiko letting anything befall upon her and thus all of Copper Rock Creek would uphold his order. It was than it hit him. How could he make such a grand promise and still remain in Swift River? He felt himself tugged to say the words, to speak to Rue. Something kept his mouth sealed realizing the complications. When she stared at him he melted in the hold of her gaze, and broadly smiled beyond the usual length his cheeks stretched. He'd always felt those words were true, just unspoken, and a part of him and never thought if they were not. To hear them said in her voice, and the trace of his name was sweet, beautiful music it was a good thing he was contained or he'd be jumping around like a deer who'd taken one too many hits to the head. Instead he let out a half breath, muffled chuckle and brushed his muzzle steadily against hers in a graceful motion to have their eyes meet again. He would plant a kiss to her forehead, and nestle himself around her in warmth and protection.

Rhysis would have to wait, but no doubt should fear the day when Triell would meet his own claim for blood payment. There was nothing more powerful as love. What would it be Naira who stood in his way? He did not know, and pressed his eyes closed to keep dark thoughts away. He would have to leave Volkan again, and he did not want to waste any more precious time. Time he was not sure how much they had. He would like to think forever until his whiskers were grey, and maybe just maybe there were some blue eyed puppies to chase. He blissfully sighed, not feeling even a nip of cold, and he would say, "After the pups get here...things are settled... you can count on never telling me goodbye again." It was with that he truly felt peace inside his soul, and let himself fall victim to the dream of calmness.
