Ioni Tainn
So he was trying to do what she was doing, hm? Upsetting her with his foul words? Unfortunately he always was a poor talker, or at least in Ioni's viewpoint. His words just made her smile; of course she was doing it for the best of the family, he just refused to see it because he wanted to have all the power to himself. Pathetic, really. With a quick glance, she was the monochrome male dash to Ruiko and clamp his jaws onto her brother's ankle. At the same time that Ruiko leaned to take a bite, Indru appeared. For a moment, Ioni had a flash of annoyance and fear. It was all going wrong! But he was not heading for her; he was heading for Weldering. Ioni knew that Weldering was a good pawn; he was easy to persuade. She couldn't let him be killed or injured, not today. She needed him, whatever the outcome of this meeting. With a snarl, she headed directly for her brother. As he leaned to grab the other side of Weldering's neck, she landed beside him and lashed out with one of her paws and her teeth. She did not mean harm, even if one of her fangs caught in his flesh. She merely wanted him to back off.

"Leave him alone!" she snarled in rage at the top of her lungs. Her own voice caught her by surprise, but she quickly recovered. Taking a swing at him one more with her paw, she threw her entire body at him, hoping just to make him back off. After her attack she planted her paws back on the ground and swung herself to face Ruiko. "Leave him alone Ruiko, you won. You'll just look like a coward if you beat him to a pulp with Indru," she snarled, slightly noticing that she had just contradicted herself. Sure, it was fine for her and Weldering to gang up on him, but not Ruiko or Indru. But then again, they were both experienced fighters; Weldering and her weren't. She knew if they continued they would tear the poor male apart, and as decided earlier, she still needed him. Her tail slightly tucked, to show they had won, but she did not want to show her brothers complete submission. It would humiliate her too much.

Ruiko Tainn
ooc. Debain has decided to leave RoW, so I got permission from her to powerplay Weldering's escape. :)

It was a blur of motion. Ruiko’s teeth grazed the side of his silver opponent’s neck, though the rogue wolf moved away before he could grasp the flesh with a death grip. He tasted blood, but knew it was not enough to satiate his rage; he had not made a deadly blow. Surprise coursed his body as a familiar tawny wolf came swiftly to the fight. Indru was on the other side of Weldering now, a fierce warrior as he blocked the intruder’s escape from his brother. Grim satisfaction swallowed his relief at his brother’s well-being, and as the two brothers were about to finish the fool as swiftly as his presence had brought him here, the lone wolf had released his grasp on Ruiko’s ankle – though not before breaking the skin harshly – and back peddled from the side of them. Weldering missed Ruiko’s creamy paw that was aimed to trip, and as the silver wolf raced off of the pack lands, Ruiko held himself fiercely, snarls echoing from his throat as he willed himself not to chase the fool. Not yet. Weldering’s days were limited now, but he was no longer the present threat.

He had felt the blunt shove of his sister’s paw, and as she spoke for Ruiko to leave the trespasser alone, his fury ignited only further. Hypocritical words escaped her jaws, though the tawny wolf was too infuriated to see the humor in them at the moment. Her tail tucked beneath her now, but it was not good enough. Not after this stunt. Snarling lowly, the male stalked forward, ignoring the sharp pain in his bleeding ankle as his jaws gaped open to take hold of Ioni’s muzzle. It was a sharp bite of dominance, and should he get hold of her muzzle, he would shake it more fiercely than usual; his own figure tall and proud. Her mutiny had failed, and Indru would see to her punishment. Ruiko still proudly held his spot as the pack second, and he would make sure she knew it.

It was in that moment his eyes drifted over his sister once more, and his hackles bristled lightly. This had not been in the nature of dominance or rank, it had been corrupt, and had been her seeking ultimate power. "Leave," he hissed to her. No longer was she welcome in these lands, and Ruiko was relieved to realize that Indru was not going to interfere with this. The meeting had come to an end.
