Rosealia Slayer
In the period of her gestation, Rosealia Slayer had been definitely out of it. "It" being pretty much everything or wolf around her, while somehow remaining extremely alert and keen. After all, it was okay for her to be selfish in this manner. Her situation called for a degree of conceit. There was more than one soul in her body this time and several lives she needed to protect. Somewhat unfortunately, Rose had actually grown tired of waiting for her mate, @Shade, and followed his scent southward, figuring that she would need every bit of shelter she could get at this point in time. The next event in their lives would either change them forever or ruin them. It was all on her shoulders now, weighing at what she could guess was a million pounds.
There was no comfortable den, or beautiful setup. Birth wasn't unblemished and glossy, that was for sure. It wasn't like she expected delivery to be an easy thing, and no one ever said it would be. But oh jeez, was Rosealia in for a ride! Not to mention, the place where it was happened spooked the hell out of poor Rose. It made her skin crawl. She felt alone, chilly, and tired. It became a chore, and it lasted for what seemed like hours on end. Or those were just some really, really long minutes. There was no way to tell. Heck, she couldn't even tell what time of day it was. The gloom of the forest was simply unnerving and silent, like all of the ghosts stopped to stare and witness the miracle.

There she lay, worn out and exasperated, yet overjoyed, and nestled into the nook of a tall, dead tree. She was quite shaken by her surroundings. Two little, naked and lively, newborns nestled into her stomach furs. They both seemed to be faring tremendously well despite the audience of ghosts providing silence as their only applause. But the younglings were indeed making little, minuscule sounds of their own. Quite adorable indeed. It was like an assurance to Rose, that everything would be fine. She watched the little worms writhe and feed with glimmering and proud eyes, twitching her ears with every hint of sound that filled the air.

Shade Slayer

The cries of his mate were heard by him from where he looked with @Capella. “IT’S HER!” He called out to the female who had sworn to serve under him and his mate. He ran to the sight, a small den that he could tell she was in. He had followed her scent trail for days and he had found her. What was more; was that there were two pups with her. She had delivered and he was so proud of her. “Oh my gosh, Rose, I saw so worried something had happened to her. I returned to the place with one of two recruits I found. You were gone, and I was worried sick, I’m so glad to be back with you.” He cried out as he gently nuzzled her.

He looked at his pups with pride, this was what they had left for, and there was definitely no returning now. After all, how could they return with Rosealia nursing? For that matter, why would they want to return to their former pack at all? He looked at the dark male, one who resembled him and Rosealia both, but mainly him, at least to Shade’s prospective. “The little male, what do you think of Karpos?” He asked about the name, he enjoyed that name, had heard it from old stories. The name suited the little pup who would grow to be the prince of their family. Karpos would be next in line for a throne that didn’t even exist yet. They were a far way off from that.

Capella Destae
The following events seemed to happen in an instant. One moment she was traveling with Shade, both wearing forlorn faces due to the loss of Rose, the next they were running toward her. Emotions filled the air, and she was thankful. She certainly hadn't wanted to assume any leadership roles, and now she wouldn't have to. When she looked to Shade, she would no longer see a broken man, wondering where his mate went with his pups. A tinge of jealousy hit her in the pit of her stomach. A small part of her wished for the family she had lost, and would likely never find again. Closing her eyes, she shook it off. She was happy for Shade, and Rose. They were her family now, and she was okay with that.

As they neared their destination another scent filled her nose. It was a scent she barely recognized, but it made her slow her pace. Rosealia had her puppies? Excitement flooded her veins at the prospect of young ones to help look after. Once she could finally see the den she abated to a slow walk. Instincts told her it would be best not to run up on a new mother, complete with cubs wriggling about. Her eyes fell on Shade, already greeting his mate, and meeting his heirs. Capella laid herself down at a respectable distance, hoping Rosealia wouldn't see her as any type of threat. Her mind began whirling with curiosity, as she had never seen cubs before. While traveling with her parent's they had never come across them.

Rosealia Slayer
It all happened in a blur. One second, she was alone, watching her newborns, and then in an instant- her mate was before her. His scent overwhelmed her nose, his face her vision, and his voice her ears. She felt her ears flatten and she looked upon him. His words spilled out of his mouth rapidly, but they were filled with the same sweetness and concern they always seemed to have. Immediately, she followed his gaze to the pups. "Karpos? Why darling! That's a beautiful name, Shade!" Her accent was strong, her voice lit up despite her weakness. Indeed, the both of them had the color of their father. A dark, chocolately sort of thing. Neither of them resembled her too much, but that was a good thing. The world could use more Shade's.

"Any suggestions for the other one?" Her ears perked up and flicked. Her nose lifted into the air. "Wait..." Rose began a growl, the fur rising up on her body. She picked up another scent, unfamiliar to her. She showed her fangs, glaring in the direction of the outside world viciously. Her heart raced in her chest, although deep down she knew that everything would be alright. Her mate was there.

Shade Slayer

Shade smiled, the first born was named. It was Karpos Slayer and Rose had brought him into the world. She was cut off when she scented Capella. “It’s alright my darling, its someone who has agreed to help us raise a pack. Her name is Capella and Ace is right behind us, searching for his sister and meeting us here.” He said and gave her a comforting lick on the shoulder. He had basically told her what had been done on his little adventures outside to recruit members. He knew it was best that Capella had stayed behind and watched outside the den. Though perhaps she should have come along and stayed where they were when he found her. It was all in the past now.

He couldn’t stop looking at the other pup. “Perhaps the name Adsila for the little angel?” He asked her, trying to turn her attention from the female outside. He smiled at her, they were all united again, all four of them. The two pups had a full family, and hopefully soon they would have a pack to call home. Then he was complete and so was his goal. To raise a pack and a family was all he wanted and now he had it. It was all complete. His tail brushed along her back at an attempt to comfort her. She was his strong protector and she was using her protective mother instincts. After all she had never met Capella and did not know her true intentions. But he trusted her to protect them all.
