Shadow had been past her 'glory years'. The age had weakened her and she was not as sharp of the senses as the rest were. But she heard the call. She rushed to keep up with the rest of her group. Her goal was all that was on her mind this fine hunting day. She had to push the target to the thickest of the brush. She darted after it, her smaller size led to her being faster, she guessed it was an advantage. Her icy blue eyes locked onto the old bull's location. She could do this, after all, this was her first hunt that was requiring more then one person. She had to prove herself. she'd been a loner all her life so she needed to step up her game.
She let her eyes wander for a slight second as she neared the bull and she had to rush to avoid a bull hoof. She shook her head and refocused on her task. She needed to drive it closer to Jayse and the boys. This so they could eat. She wanted a good lunch. She had to keep her head in the game, she let her tail hover above the ground, dragging it would cause friction, even the slightest bit, that could affect her hunting. She narrowed her eyes to help as the wind bellowed her jet black fur. The black, healer, the black warrior, Shadow, Shadowstorm, whatever you called her, she could not be stopped. She felt like she was on top of the world.
