Shade had to admit that news of strangers at the fen, traveling together did worry him a lot, but surely it wasn’t a full pack. They would have to talk more about this once Ill was acquainted with everyone else. "Come, why don’t we talk about this near the den area, I’m sure it might just be a few loners staying there for a bit, but in any case, I’d prefer details and for us to talk in a more private area. We never know when the pack that resides here is lurking near us." He said, a bit cautiously too, one was never too sure about when the wolves might lurk or attack. Ace had reported to him of the pack in the woods and he was worried.
The possibility that the wolves were of a pack in the fen was too great for him to stand. He was so close to a home, and he would not have it taken away by these other wolves. He wanted to be angry, but he knew he couldn’t be. If there was indeed a pack in the place which they were planning on settling, then they would move again, but only once more. Shade sure hoped that it was nothing; he could not afford this to be another hole in his plans. He wanted to talk about it closer to the den because of the incident with Karpos and that other man who had threatened him. They did not want another encounter like that.
