Bowing, and stretching her long appendages before her, as her maw parted widely releasing a loud yawn of exhaustion. Digging her digits into the dirt as she suddenly flopped to her side, rolling in the sprouts of grass; that smelled of warmth and sunshine. 'How much further must it be? ... should I bring a rabbit as a peace offering?' Moe's mind whirled, as she became reluctant to go further. Her doubts and worries weighing in on her heart once again, her past experiances flooding over her. Grumbling under her breath, she extended her neck, lifting her paws above her snout, before sneezing loudly; bouncing back up to her pads and stratizing a way to hunt something down quickly.
Shaking her dusty obsidian coat, she began padding quickly into the trees ahead. Her amber irises wide as she scoped the area for anything small, or any sudden movements in the brush. She could just barely feel rain drizzle through the canopy above head, rain drops splashing on her noise. Right as she paused to shake her head, she caught something tawny and quick dart acrss her vision. Snapping her head around, she automaticly ran after it, kicking dirt up as she flew at full speed towards the small creature. Ears flattened to her skull and tail stick stiff, as she tried to gain as much momentum as possible. Flying through the trees, she finally caught full sight of what she was chasing, a tail length away she had manage to speed onto the heels of a adult rabbit. Her lips pulled into a wolfish grin as she was certain the hunt was sealed.
Taking a leap of faith, she lunged forward with the remaining stamina in her, and plunged towards the rabbit, snapping at it's long agile legs. The small creature cried out in fear as it lost footing and slid out of safety. Moe took this chance to knock the tiny rodent with her paw, before rushing to a halt and tackling it. Pinning it down with her fore paws, before snapping her jaws around it's neck and crushing it. Blood dripping over her tongue as she lifted the rabbit from the forest floor and lifted her nose to the air. 'Now to find that territory marker... It can't be too far off.' she thought, pride in her catch swelling in her chest as she pranced along, her notrils flared as she tried to detect the pack scents from the aroma of blood pouring into them.
After what seemed like and hour or so, she found herself so close to the pack's denning area that she thought she might at this point be intruding. So positioning herself further away, she dropped the rabbit at her paws. Falling back on her haunches as she tipped her head up, parting her lips and letting out a long requesting howl. The notes high, yet smooth with a bell like ring to them. This howl was a call to the pack, that she ment no harm but was quite interested in joining; if they'd have her that is. She hoped that a Leader would, come to her or another pack member willing to help her out. "Now all I can do is wait...." Time is patience, and patience is key. As her mother always said. Head slightly dipped, as she watched the prey at her toes, she flicked her tail and waited for a wolf og authority to approach.
'A half a year alone, is long enough for me... I'm ready now. To face my fears.'
