Isadora Montyago

Isadora was a fae for adventure and mischievousness, her life was full of many things that led to her behavior. It had a lot of tragedy, but also much kindness. However with the sun shining around the lake she was at, her paws in the soft grass, she refused to let those events get her down on the fine day, she had been traveling, and she could see the lake from her place up on the mountains, it was a rare sight, she normally just saw a lot of fog in the air, but today everything was so calm. She was almost weary of her surroundings, like it was too good to be true, everything around her. Silver bullets and arctic adventures made her weary, it was weird, and she had been raised in the north, many things trying to kill her. She had a bit of a qualm expression to her, she was always on guard for the evil white man, she hadn’t even remembered his name after all this time, for she was no longer supposed to wed the man whom she would never love.

Her mind slipped away into her thoughts with no effort, gazing at the beautiful view in front of her reminded her of the finer things in life. The things that she missed, being treated like an heir, a princess. She should be princessa Isadora of the Darkened Cove, her parents had always called her princessa, it was Spanish, and she had been taught such as part of her native tongue along side Russian, though she knew less Spanish, just the one word. Russian was her main language and she did tend to lean more to her Russian side. Her tail wagged from where she sat on the ground, her eyes thirsting for more beauty. She was panting from sweating on the hot day, and she figured she should go find something to drink before she came down with a thirst again, she always seemed to be thirsty in the summer and she had no idea why. She was just a black yearling, her black fur mixing in well with the shadows gave her a place to hide, a worshiping place for Cilcar, the one true god of her life. She had devoted her life to him because she had black fur, and she seemed misunderstood. She would probably have to get back to Darkwater Rapids soon, but she would admire the view a bit longer.

Triell Tainn
I'm not as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I use to be.
The mountain should not be beckoning to the Tainn. It should be rumbling for him to walk the other way down below to the forest of blue haze where he belonged. The mountain wasn't an old friend, it had nothing for him. There the dark male was, hiking up its coarse sides, invoking his lungs with the cold air of the high altitude thinking it was nice to feel on top of the world instead of beneath it. Up here everything looked a lot smaller, if in another world. It was just him and the mountain. Which surprisingly had not struck him down yet.

Dark paws kept working out the stepping stones, knowing water was yet another mile, but he did not let himself feel guilty. Triell had good enough reasons to be here:checking on the two opposing mountain packs. He new that there was more to it than that, but didn't face it directly. He didn't know how too, and the Swift River wolf in him couldn't uproot himself no matter what had had happened or could be. Taking another pack member from Oak Tree Bend, because he was the sole blame for the loss of their red guardian, was out of the question. It made him cringe outward and inward, how right Naira was. How stupid he was, but he continued forcing his lungs to their capacity, making his legs burn with his quickened pace. When he reached the lake he had every intention to take a swim, try to wash more than just his outsides clean.

Approaching the shore, fiery eyes briefly scanned his surroundings, coming the opposite way he didn't pick up the scent of the young female at first. Until he was about to the small pebbles, and darts of grass that shot up wildly where ther was no rock, the wind across the water brought it to him. Pausing, his body stretched out in a more cautious pace when he stopped near the water's edge. Seeing her thick furred figure she looked in need of a drink, and he had no idea who she was so he didn't want to scare her. Quietly, he watched her with guarded eyes trying not to stare, but give her a somewhat curious look.

[Hover=translation! <3 SWITCH!!!]

Isadora wasn’t paying attention, which was only because she didn’t believe anyone would be wandering the mountains like her. She just liked to gaze at the endless beauty of the water below, a small smile on her face as it reminded her about an old vantage point she had known about back when she belonged to Darken Cove. When the scent of a male she did not know reached her nose, she immediately turned, her hackles rising and a growl out of her mouth occurred with one fluid motion. But she saw the pelt color and it did not match Cilcar’s so her hackles fell and she calmed herself down. "Sorry, I thought you were someone else." She said apologetically, hoping the male didn’t attack by her mistake. Whenever she saw or scented a male who {might} have been Cilcar, she always reacted the same way, defensively. It was dangerous, especially since she was near the edge of a cliff that dropped down probably hundreds of feet.

Isadora saw an opportunity instead, perhaps to make a new friend, but that was always her hope, to make new friends. The more friends you had, the less likely you were to get attacked. The more friends you had, the less people hated you. Her logic behind the subject was if there were 10 wolves, and you were friends with none of them, but not enemies, 10 wolves could attack. If you were friends with one, only 9 had the possibility of attack and so on and so forth. She had a small embarrassed look to her; he had a faint scent on him, though she didn’t recognize it so she just kinda dropped the topic in her mind and waited for him to respond. Her tail was tucked a bit, in case she was near a pack’s lands, who knew, maybe that was why he was there. Though she hadn’t scented a pack’s borders, some were hidden or faint. It all depended on the pack.

The encounter with a wolf would {probably} be brief so she could get back to Darkwater Rapids, but she did have a little bit of time and she wasn’t just going to walk right past him and leave, that was rude and she was raised with the gift of her parents teaching her all the manners a girl could know. There was a curious look to his face, and she looked at her paws briefly before speaking a half Spanish and half Russian speech. "Soy Isadora, aunque la mayoría me llama Isabel o Isa. Imeyu li ya vtorgat'sya na pachke zemlyu?" She asked the question that in her own mind made perfect since, but probably not to the man.

Triell Tainn
I'm not as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I use to be.
The Tainn first thought she was too lost in her own world, her own thoughts to notice. Convinced she probably didn't want to be disturbed he went to turn, leave, disappear amongst the brush when she shot round. A threat in her posture, in th sound that grumbled from her throat he felt his own dark guard hairs rising. The last thing he needed was another crazed wolf to take a bite out of him. Waiting for her move, it seemed a closer look of him and she changed her mind. Very odd, the Tainn kept his rigid posture not sure if he should believe her. Once her explanation registered past the surface, his fur flattened. "Well, I'm glad I'm not them," he commented, trying to lighten the mood. Who she was worried about, he thought about asking or at least telling her she should be more aware of her surroundings. For now he held his tongue on those thoughts.

Deciding to break the space, he casually meandered where she stood, looking a little uncertain about what had happened. "This isn't my home, I was just looking at the lake too. I was actually thinking about going for a swim," he admitted. Hoping she wasn't considering running off just because of him. They had just met, and he was curious if she was from Poison Path. The dark wolf assumed it was still alive, but had no want to visit Athena or her pack members on their borders. He was sure his face wasn't welcome there. While he would love to take a piece out of a few wolves, he was in no shape to do so. Especially by himself.

Light brown eyes met his, before shyly finding the ground. The Tainn found himself offering her a friendly smile, but it became accompanied by arched brows of bewilderment. The only word he could keep track of was Isadora. "Come again?" He asked, this time without filtering his words before they escaped his mouth. While he had once found a french speaking wolf he couldn't place the sounds she made to be anything remotely familiar.

Isadora Montyago

Isadora realized that he had no idea what she was saying because, once again, she started off in Spanish and Russian. She had to stop doing that, but she knew that it would probably never happen, so very carefully she repeated herself in the common tongue of the area {English}. "I'm Isadora, but most call me Isabel or Isa." She said with a small little laugh to herself. "Sorry, I hadn't realized I went off in Russian and Spanish again." Her mixed accent was thick when she spoke, she found a lot of wolves found it easy to understand, but some had issues with it. "So I'm not intruding on pack lands then?" She asked with a huge sigh of relief. She could use little drama, and she cast a gaze back over the lake that she had an overview of.

She smiled when he had said that he too had come to gaze at the lake like she had been doing. "You know the area well than?" She asked, hoping that she also might get directions back to the Falls, since she had forgotten which way she had come from. Perhaps this man even knew the pack she belonged too, maybe he knew Ava or Kade very well. She supposed she could ask him about it later, now it was time to find out if he knew the area well and if he could point her once more in the right direction. She was always terrible with remembering her ways around the areas.

sorry for the wait Namara <3
I'm not as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I use to be.
Trying best to remain polite, he was sure bewilderment twisted his face. If he wasn't angry, wasn't frustrated she could see he was only ignorant of her foreign tongues. Even when she spoke words he knew, the way they drifted made his ears strain to be sure of what he heard. With a some seconds delay manged to test her name. "Isadora..." Fiery eyes made an effort to look up. He felt he needed to be sure he got it right.

When she continued to explain, he nodded, buying himself time to repeat it all in the space of his head. Russian and Spanish meant nothing to him, but shall he hear it again he would remember it. "Oh, that's all right. It's rather pretty, I just had no idea what it meant," quietly he chuckled, giving a slow wag of his tail to assure her. The action helped his muscles loosen, melting some of the tension he always felt in meeting a stranger. "No, there is one on the other side of this place, but not here....." He confirmed, trying not to remember the last time he had seen Poison Path. While he was still curious how Athena was, and that fellow Ash he wasn't sure they would greet him neutrally.

The Tainn nodded again, to her question. Then thought he was coming across like a dummy. Clearing his throat, he found his voice. "Yes, I was born here, and have lived here most my life. This side of the mountain," he spoke, indicating to the west, "Is new to me, but the last months I've been up and down it to know it fairly better. Do you need directions?" He dare to ask, thinking she was more of a girl than a lady. There distance he wasn't sure where she came from, or if she was a lone wolf. Either way he assumed she was new to Relic Lore, pack or not.

"Oh, pardon my manners. I'm Triell, Guardian of Oak Tree Bend."

quite fine <3 sorry for the wait on this one

Triell, it was a nice name. Isadora had listened to everything he had to say with interest, and she began to wonder if he knew about Darkwater Rapids at all. "Yes please, I'm trying to get back to my pack, but I have no idea where it is. It's called Darkwater Rapids, Lady Ava and Sir Kade are the alphas." She told him, hoping he knew something about the pack, and how to get back to there from where she was now. "It is very nice to meet you Triell." She said with a small smile pursing her muzzle. Her life had been dissilient a few months ago, and now it was being put back together again. She felt like she could do anything and that others could not stop her, but she was still lost and that was stopping her.

It was almost like a tale of the clueless, that basically summed up her life. The medium yearling had gone through as much as anywolf. She let her amber eyes escape some pain almost. She remembered everything so clearly. The calming voice of her siblings, and the evil voice that her parents tried to force into her head. The soft and kind voice of Lady Ava, and she remembered Sir Kade, but had never really heard him talk.... There was so much she still had to learn if she was going to make it through it all. The first thing would be to get back on task and stay there until she finished her task. In this case, it was getting back home.

I'm not as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I use to be.
Darkwater Rapids. Unfortunately, he hadn't heard of them. Neither of Kade or wait..Ava? He had met her once in very undesirable circumstances. She had been part of Poison Path, and had made sure to leave before they could speak much. Hell, was everyone just making packs these days? Trying not to be disgruntled, he didn't want to scare Isadora, he shook out his shoulders. What did he tell her? Darkwater Rapids was to the North, likely. He had been near great water falls. Fiery eyes dipped to the lake, his dark mask was scrunched in thought.

Thinking he had been quiet too long, he snapped his head back to his company, an evident frown. "I'm sorry, I haven't heard of the pack. Is it perchance near this huge water fall?" He tried to think where else was water, but there was only the creek. That didn't seem fitting for the pack's name. "It must be north, right?" The Tainn's brows furrowed, and shifting his body about, he tried to get his bearings. The other side of the lake, and onward he was sure would lead away from Oak Tree Bend. Down the mountain, through that awful forest, and then some would be the falls. He had been there, but since that terrible night he had yelled at Naira he had no want to return. In fact he was starting to hate waterfalls all together. All the women of his life seemed to have scorned him there.

"Look, we can head that way together. No fun getting lost by yourself." There at last was his grin again, and he shuffled forward, waiting for her to decide if she was ready now. He did want to help, he was all about saving damsels in distress.

darling you give love a bad name

Isadora nodded when Triell had asked her if this pack had been located near a waterfall. She knew that the Secret Falls was where her pack was located, and was a bit shy when admitting she had no idea where she was going and how she had even gotten to the mountain. She figured it was that she enjoyed the journey so much that she hadn't noticed which way she went. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I can’t remember how I got here." She told the man with a rather quiet tone. Her fur laid flat, her head ducked a little bit. It was just the way she behaved and she never seemed to changer. She was more of a static character than a dynamic character.

"I’d love some company for the way back, Sir Triell…" She trailed off into her own thoughts about getting back to Ava and Kade. She was eager to get back to the pups whom were surely just fine and all her other packmates as well. She was nervous about it all though; this man she barely knew was going to walk her home it seemed. Did he even know where he was going? Most importantly, could she trust him and would he be a good or evil wolf? She’d have to run through trials and errors it seemed. It was going to be a fun trip back with her always alert as to what was going on, what was happening.

I'm not as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I use to be.
Young, and unfamiliar with the lands he could see how she wasn't certain of the way back. The Tainn rarely found the misfortunes of others funny, especially something like this. He had gotten lost in his younger days. Once he got to a certain part he had always been able to reach the Sacred Grove. "It happens," he offered in a warm voice, thinking she shouldn't feel bad.`Yet, the dark wolf wasn't bold enough to say, she should be more thoughtful next time. Maybe, she already knew she should memorize the terrain before adventuring so far. Or travel with a pack mate. Getting lost could be more than just a bad day.

Since he knew where the falls were that was good a start as any. "I can find the falls, and we'll go from there?" With a flick of his tail, he nodded to himself. They could talk on the way. About what else her territory held. She didn't seem too shy and withdrawn to talk on the way. Really, she didn't have any other options, or he didn't seem so bad she at last agreed to let him help. "I'm sure once we get going you'll see something familiar. Or we can howl for your leaders." With that, he smiled, and began to trot north. He hadn't taken this route to the falls, but he wasn't worried. It was just about climbing down the mountain, and winding their way through the forest. Perhaps once they reached the falls the path home would come to her.
