Anstice had been rather anti-social. She was just trying to survive with her child(s) and make it through their first year alive. She knew she needed a pack but what pack in their right mind would take in a pregnant loner such as herself. A small sigh as she managed to find a small cave to rest in from the light rains that fell that day. It looked like she would be there for a while as she did not want to become ill from the slightly cold weather. She looked around to make sure no wolves were around as she felt a pang of pain in her stomach. She sighed slightly as she looked at the swollen stomach. Being pregnant hurts. She told herself sorrowfully.
She only hoped it would get better once her children were out of her and in the world as their own beings, assuming she had more than one, which she hoped she did. She was starting to think up names for the pups who would be her pride and joy. She had decided that if she has a girl in the litter she would be named Elli. I also like the name Roman, but I was thinking that as a middle name. I want something with an A as the first letter if it is a boy. She had thought silently to herself. I know! Abadeer Roman Alexa. What a perfect name for a perfect son, assuming she had one. It was all so strange and unknown to her.
Anstice had been thinking about how stupid she had been to get pregnant like that. She should have thought about it and let herself wait a few more years. Now she had the risk of not being enough to keep her child(s) alive. She felt another pain hit her stomach, just a little pain that was to be expected.
