Often times silence was deafening in most cases, but not for aestyn. silence was invigorating and energizing. muscle bound appendages jabbed at the earthy soil moving her frame in a steady gait. the silver hints of her coat flashed reflections to the river she was running parallel to.
improving her speed her sides began heaving in and out the longer she ran. she knew not how many miles her paws had allowed her travel, and to be frank she really didn't care to know. every step was something new and something she had conquered. few had ever caught her exclusive attention, and she intended to keep it that way. the rippling invisible breeze made it's presence known as it raced up her cloaked spine. giving her a shrill. a death ringing howl rummaged from her vocal cavity and escaped with bravado as it rang into the isolated arena. surely, if there was any other life forms here they'd be running for the hills. soon her high pitched notes died. quarrelling with the wind's current as it began attempting to push her from moving forward she bared her chiseled apex lower so to protect her aqua orbits.
the cold was biting, and she longed to find an isolate nest for the evening.
after all, that's all she ever expected from often times cruel mother nature. she knew she was more than likely on sacred claimed ground but, how else was she to make her presence known to it's keepers. she sensed the entrance into the terra would cause more trouble than her intention so she circled back and waited right outside of the marked territory. jagged talons gripped the cold almost lifeless earth as her torso paced back and forth anxiously awaiting one of the harvesters of the kingdom to make an appearance. harks swiveled disturbing the airwaves. before long her rounds came to a complete halt as her anxiousness left her. they would come in time, patience was the key. barbed padders gripped the ground to reassure her stance, her multiple hued tassel swung freely behind her muscle bound haunches.
