But her amusement was cut short as she watched her brother's maw close and curiously she moved her gaze from his profile to the lands in front of them. Adele took it in with wide, appreciative eyes. These red hills were truly a thing of splendid beauty. She turned her sandy gaze to his pale yellow orbs, easily reading the eagerness in them. Eagerness that probably shined in her own orbs. She wouldn't call herself a wondering soul, but she knew her brother was tired of the constant travel. She too. She wanted to settle down again, in a familial pack that Nicolò and her could thrive in. "It's beautiful, Nico," she spoke, answering the silent question in his eyes. Her words were genuine and she once again moved her gaze from her brother to simply drink in the sight before them. Truly beautiful.
They remained silent for several moments, just drinking in the scene in front of them. It was so tempting to go and explore the new unknown. Would it be as beautiful down there as it was up here? His paws itched to move, but he remained planted by his sister's side, his pale yellow gaze sweeping the area once again. In these new lands there would be many new stories to tell and he knew that in the end, everything would be worth it. Turning his head back to his sister, he finally spoke, in tenor voice flowing easily in the slight space between them, "Would you like to look around the hill and see if we find anything?" Maybe there were others here that could tell them about the lands here and help them navigate their way around. Of course, Nico wouldn't want to do that for an extended period of time. Just until they found the place where they wanted to settle for their next period of their lives.
She broke their locked gazes briefly as her sandy gaze ran over their surroundings. Their was much to explore and to find.More of these beautiful lands where they could wonder and maybe even settle down. They had all the time in the world, it seemed. Turning her gaze back to her brother, there was no mistaking the light in her eyes. "Lead the way, Nico"," she spoke. Waiting for her brother to heed to her request, her paws naturally moving after his, Adele couldn't wait to find out what was in store for them as their adventure began in these new lands.
It wasn't long before their gazes were once again linked to the other. A small smile twitched onto his lips as he noticed a particular sparkle in his sister's eyes. It was the kind that told him that sooner or later they would be able to settle down and be comfortable, or at least, that was what he hoped for. As much as he enjoyed his sister's company and would do anything for her, he needed to settle down somewhere. He was getting to the point in his life where he was quite certain that he would never find a mate or anyone else to ever share his life with. Nicolò was devoted to his sister and if that meant giving up personal goals, then he was perfectly fine with going along with that. The Archer gave a slight smirk at his sister's remark, pale yellow eyes once again moving over the hills that were in front of them. The forest below could be for another time, but for right now he was content with staying in the red colored hills. The dark man moved fluidly through the barren lands, his sister plastered to his side as they moved along. He was unsure what else was out there and how many wolves would be present in this part of their journey, but he was certainly excited and he hoped that his sister was as well. So with a content sigh, he turned his gaze back towards his sister, giving her an expectant look, "So where would you like to go now, sister?" There was a whole land in front of them to explore, hopefully some of which they would be able to get some information out from others. There was another whole world out them for them to look through and it was at their paws and at their disposal. |

Her body too moved fluidly through the terrain, her natural gait easily keeping pace with her brother as they both traveled through the red hills. His question made her smile, and the spark that had previously been in her eyes shined even brighter. This could very well be where they could settle down. At least, for the time being. Maybe those of the curious sort would wonder in, and Nicolò and her would be able to gather some useful information. As she let her sandy gaze wonder through the beautiful red landscape once again, she connected her gaze with a familiar pair of yellow eyes. "For once brother, I think I'd actually like to stay right where I am." In all their time of travel, they had crossed through various lands. But Adele hadn't wanted to stay very long because they didnt feel right. These lands of forest and red hills felt right for some reason she couldn't put her paw on. All she knew was that she wanted to make her home here. Leave her mark, somehow. Maybe not precisely in these red hills, but they would be a start. They could find or build a den, and leave the explorations for tomorrow. They had time on their side, and they could stay here as long as they chose to. Hopefully they would meet some fellow wolves so they could learn more about these lands. Of course, she had to know Nicolò's opinion of it all first and foremost. She had a feeling he felt the same way, but she needed to know for sure. "What do you think, brother?" There was no way she would stay if he didnt as well. |

The man watched his sister carefully, not wanting to miss anything that could signal her disdain towards their current situation. However, when he saw her eyes brighten even further, he knew that they had done well. Her words continued to confirm what he already thought. There was much in their lives ahead of them and it truly excited him and he was sure that his sister was just as enlightened. However, sooner or later they would need to settle down, because they didn't need to be traveling alone together all the time. Nicolò needed to settle down eventually and Adele knew that but the man still found that he had to let her know this. He got the opportunity to when she asked her own question, one that was extremely important in the new journey that they were going on. He dipped his head in compliance though, his dark head turned towards her. He didn't stop there though. Opening his mouth, he continued on the path of where their conversation needed to go, "I like it here. We can settle down on these hills for a few days, but I feel it would benefit us if we knew what these lands could offer us." He finished his statement with an affirmative nod, as if it was all they needed to clear up the air around him. As long as his sister was still with him, the two of them could be contently happy. Nico didn't know what he would do without her, especially now that they were no longer in the Torbine. The future was something that neither of them were prepared for. |

Her sandy gaze was patient as she awaited her brother's response, giving him ample time to think of his answer. His head dipped in compliance and she smiled at his nonverbal answer. He continued by speaking his agreement this time and she nodded, for there were no words needed. They were once again in complete agreement with eachother, and she knew he would know that. Her sand colored orbs drifted from her brother's pale yellow gaze, running across the red landscape. Turning back to him, her gaze connected with his. "We must find a place to rest, brother," she murmured in her soft alto. The excitement of finally finding a home of their own again had finally gotten to her. A yawn was threatening to escape. She would plan to get a good night's sleep and their explorations would continue tomorrow. Leaving his gaze, her paws moved forward slightly, her ears cocked to hear his familiar footfalls. They'd find a safe place to rest for a couple days and then depart...to who knows where. Turning to her brother, excitement was once again in her orbs. "The fun begins tomorrow," she spoke. It didnt matter if the strangers they met tomorrow were of good intentions or bad, she had Nicolò's back and he had hers. Their future was indeed uncertain, but wasn't that the fun of it all? What was life without risks? Life was made to be enjoyed. Of course, you had to be smart about it. "Speech" |

The dark Archer's sister seemed pleased with his answer, content to sit there and bask in each other's presence. Of course, Nicolò should have known that it would not have lasted that long. His sister was devoted to what she did, and when she had a mission that she needed to complete, there was no stopping until it was done. The black man was proud of her devotion to missions and it was what made them get along so well, because whenever Nico had any self doubt, his sister was always there to kick him back into place and remind him of how enough he was and how successful he had become. In turn, he did the same for her and the two siblings had been quite close because of it. They knew each others strengths and weaknesses, their wants and their needs. The slightest shift in mood was always noticeable for the two of them, but it never affected their relationship. When Adele spoke, he allowed their eyes to meet, not wanting to make it seem like he was not paying attention to her. The siblings both agreed that it was time for them to rest and move on after a couple of days. Nico followed his sister, allowing her to choose where they would spend a few comfortable nights. The two were, after all, adventurers. After awhile, Adele had finally found a place that seemed fit enough for them to stay. They would stay for a few days and then continue their quest. What they were looking for, they didn't know yet, but Nicolò hoped that they would soon find out. |

Adele wasted no time as she began to try and find a den already made. If she could not, then they would make one of their own. It was nothing new to the siblings, for when they had lived in Torbine, they had made their own den. They held similar sleeping schedules, and it had been good to escape their family's craziness every now and then. Beckoning Nicolò to follow her, she went full throttle in her search. She was an excellent tracker, for she had worked to hone her craft, and her skills aided her in scenting out a den. The faint scent of the wolves who had previously dwelled in it was swiftly dissapearing. Grinning at her brother, and with an eager wag of her tail, the woman moved into the den. It was definitely spacious enough, perfectly fitting the siblings so they could have a cozy place to stay for a few days. Her excitement waned as the day's events caught up to her. She was not at peak physical fitness, for no lone wolf was, and today had been a long day. The Archer woman was rightfully exhausted. The siblings curled up together and it didn't take long for the sandy eyed woman to slip into dreamland. {Fade Out} "Speech" |
