Mountain of Dire Unexpected Encounters

Even though he did not know the mountain as well as some others might he was confident that he could at least send the female in a direction that would lead her to safer territory.  That was the important thing after all, he didn’t want her to end up the victim of a falling boulder or worse.  She however didn’t care and only wanted the fastest route off the mountain.  That made things a lot easier, “Well if you take this path on a little further you should come to a fork.  Take the left fork, it will lead onto a narrow path but that will in good time take you off the mountain and you should be heading north,” he explained.  He remembered the narrowness of the deer path that Veho had led him down and hoped the female wouldn’t be too disappointed in it when or if she reached it. It saddened him some that she was not considering joining a pack knowing what life was like out there alone. He had spent far too much time on his own so he did not have any doubts when he offered her help whenever she might need it in the future.  She however wanted to know about his pack in case she changed her mind, Kajika thought a moment about what he could tell her that might help her for when she was ready to make the decision to join a pack.  What came to him was what had helped him, “The Alpha’s are fair and kind and as long as you are loyal and honest you will be treated well,” he told her.  It was really all that he felt that he could tell her without betraying his pack and that was something that he was not willing to do.  Still he felt the information would be most helpful to her since he thought that the nature of a pack and its alpha’s was important in making the decision to join that particular pack. His ears had perked up at the suggestion of a spar, it had been while since he’d had the pleasure and though he’d had fun with Des he wondered what a spar with this female would be like.  He nodded in agreement as she set the rules, they seemed fair enough.  “Sounds good how would you like to start?” he asked preparing himself for what was to come.
