Clandestine Brook i don't love you like i did yesterday

It really shouldn't have been such a surprise that his brother would try to assert his dominance by trying to mount him. Ruari was just glad that it had backfired even if he did get a grip around his waist. Deaglan should have been thankful it hadn't worked and his twin wasn't in the best of condition at the time or the older twin would have reminded him of his place.

Ruari didn't get away from it without another injury, his brothers jaws clamping around his right front paw. He felt Deaglan's sharp teeth sink into his pad that almost caused him to cry out. Before he could his body was pulled down on top of his brothers. That only lasted a second before he rolled off into the brook soaking them both as the water sprayed up around them.

The older twin didn't make a move to get up and for a long moment the only movement from him was that of his chest rising and falling with each breath. As Deaglan made to leave the water that now ran red with their blood from their injuries Ruari rose his head to watch him. Without a word his twin started to leave him behind before stumbling. Once he'd regained his balance he gave Ru a very clear warning, the older twin was left to watch as his brother disappeared to the west as he continued to follow the stream they'd been flowing before the fight.

For a long while Ruari didn't move from the water. It wasn't until he knew he couldn't stay there any longer that he finally pulled his battered body out of the water. He paused a moment before limping his way slowly onto dry land and then he drug himself to a place close by that would have to work for shelter for the night.
