Let it be the way it is

Why did everyone care about that one wound so much?! First Valiant who seemed to be rather reckless had started to worry about few scratches on her neck, now Kashikoi, telling her to get healed! Why they couldn't understand they were only wounds? <b>"They will heal by themselves,. thank you very much"</b> she replied bitterly to him. but right after her reply, the happier look and wag of her tail returned, though she wasn't quite sure would Kashikoi continue with his irritating will to take care of her. But he ment only good, right? Why can't you relax a little? Remember humble attitude. <b>"When did you join to Copper Rock Creek?"</b>

Kashi could tell she didn't want people to worry about the wound so he would <span class='word'>excogitate</span> a way around he permission. he didn't want his pack mate to die. He simply nodded a little sullen when she said not to worry about it because he could only worry about it. "I joined that pack when i was about a night away from death and found kano again, but if you are reffering to time it was about a week ago." He knew that if he had died that day it would of been a loss for him but it would of gave the grass life in time. "when did you join the pack now that ive answered your question about me." He may of been a bit eager to know about his new family but he supposed that was only normal seeing as he would be living with them.

Okay, so about a week ago. Rebecca was happy that he didn't speak about her wounds any more. She truly did not miss it. And then, when had she joined? <b>"Before the pack was even formed, but officially right after it"</b> she said. Ruiko had accepted her in Luna Hill, and then Reba had come howling to the borderd and been allowed to get it. Now she lived here, still wandering alot, getting in troubles and meeting new wolves. <b>"Don't know how long time ago it was, two weeks, more?"</b> she then continued shrugging.

Kashi blinks in surprise at his pack mate. How was it possible to be part of the pack before it formed he wondered. "you must be well respected if you have been in the pack for so long" he said to her. He could still smell the infection of the cuts but he kept his muzzle shut knowing kano or another wolf could help besides she already said she didnt want him to worry about it.

Rebecca shook her head with smile. She? Well respected? In your dreams! Who would respect crazy wolf? <b>"No, it was good luck"</b> Reba said to him, waggin her tail with friendly smile on her lips. She was nothing special, just good enough to take care of herself, nothing more. Learning in progress, you could say. Specially when it came to pack life. Reba had very little experience about it.

Kashikoi pondered her answer slightly confused. He wondered how long the pack had been around and the history of it. He started wondering about relic lore in general, it was an alien place for him and if he was to live here he wanted to know about this land. Wagging his tail feeling more at ease with this wolf he asked,"could you tell me about the history of this pack Rebecca? I would really apreciate it seeing as this place almost claimed my life." he wondered if she would have the answer but then again she did say she was there when the pack formed initially. He didnt want to bombard the poor female with all his questions so he just left it at the one.

He wanted to know abut the history? Too bad, Rebecca didn't really know much about it. She had just met Volkan while kinda looking for a pack and then she had slipped the information that Ruiko was going to form a pack. Maybe she could suppose Volkan had something to do with it?

<b>"Well, I really don't know that much about it, but I met Volkan once and she said that Ruiko was going to form a new pack. So I met Ruiko and asked could I get into the pack adn he accepted me. Then when the pack was formed, I think that Ruiko, his mate, Kinis and Volkan were there, I came to the border and was then let in the pack. But I know that once Ruiko ruled Swift River and then Indru won him in a challenge or something. But you'd really need to ask from someone else, Kinis or Volkan will know more. I pretty new in Relic Lore, only been here for few months"</b> she spoke. Spoke out everything she knew.

Kashikoi sat back when he heard the long answer. He was a bit shocked becuase this wolf tended to talk in short lapses. As he mulled over the short history lesson he nodded. It was true that their pack leader was old but to have ruled the swift river pack and then leave? He was a bit confused and he wondered what had convinced the alpha to leave to become a lone wolf before starting his own pack. "i appreciate you telling me all this Rebecca, i havent been in relic lore for very long myself. You see i ran away from my original pack because i was the runt and wanted to prove them wrong." he didnt know why he was telling the wolf all of this they had met just recently but it just felt right. He just felt that she was no stranger to being the odd one out.

Runt? If he had almost died, he was probably still the same runt. And he was really small, even smaller than she was. Though Rebecca did know she wasn't the smallest wolf around, nor the largest. Looking at Kashikoi, wondering what to say. <b>"At least you had a family."</b> the black girl then decided to say. It was something you should always appreciate. Family. Reba had lost it way too young and now Copper Rock Creek wiht it's wolves were going to fill that empty hole. Runt or not, family was a good thing. At least most of the time, unless they were cruel or something.

Kashi scoffed at her statement about him having family. "sure if you could call it that. If i was to call them family it would be a lousy excuse of one all except my mom..." he looked down at the ground not wanting to discuss more of his past. He would never return to them not after he was treated like trash. He knew he was a disgrace to his mom even if she didnt show it, that simple fact had strengthened his resolve to leave. Compared to his new pack the former was a pack of rabid dogs it seemed to him. He wished desperately to forget them but he couldnt and the only thing he could do was prevent the flashbacks.
