She couldn't help but chuckle at his flattering words. He was a fair bit younger, and there was someone waiting for her just down the mountainside, perhaps she would have returned his flirtation had it been under different circumstances.
"You might be surprised just how well I blend in." The dove spoke in easy tones with a small smirk forming on her scarred features as she leaned into the warmth of the stone wall next to them. Her eyes closed for a moment, feeling more than capable of relaxing in his presence. Hulking beast or not he seemed to be far away from being a danger. "You in a rush to get anywhere?" She asked as one eye opened to look at his masked features. Maybe she could borrow his company for a stroll once he was finished catching his breath.

"Not particularly," Mako rolled his broad shoulders at her question, "The opposite, really. Just tryin' to burn some time before getting back to my pack. It gets kinda awkward in March with all those wolves around, you know?" He looked at her as he stood up, ready to stretch his legs. Besides, he felt like if he sat down too long he would never wanna get back up again.
She nodded her head in understanding. Lucky for herself she had soothed her itch already as it was gone and being replaced by a different feeling, one she was familiar with. Piety smoothly mimicked his standing actions before offering a soft beckoning motion with her head.
"Care to walk then? We could catch up," As if they were some kind of old-time friends, the thought caused a smile to break her features. "or you could tell me more about those turtle islands, silence too if that's your kind of thing." She was ready to begin walking down a path through the rough brush whenever he was.
