Bramble Falls the crow and the kingfisher.

"Okay!" Lenae chirped, already excited at the prospect of seeing her friend again.

Perhaps she'd been overly dramatic before. Crow was her friend and clearly wanted to see her again, to spend more time with her. It felt good to know that in some shape or form she was wanted, that even if they parted ways they would see each other again soon. She could wait, she'd do her best to be patient and maybe even bring yet another gift along, after all Crow really had appreciated it when she'd brought her a rabbit that one time.

The little licks to her snout were awfully sweet, Lenae's tail swished behind her, so fast it blurred as she closed her eyes in a happy squint. Affection always felt good, maybe Lenae had been a little touch starved as of late. It would explain her debby-downer moods.

"Bye!!" Lenae called as she watched her go, as her tail continued to wave as though she wished to take flight.

Maybe things would get better from here on out, or at least that's what Little Lenae hoped.
