The other wolf was quick to assert exactly what Levi had perceived to be his own ace-up-the-sleeve. The declaration gave him pause, green eyes blinking with obvious surprise as his brain tried to bridge the boy's claims. Little did he know that in a way, they were both right; his South didn't experience snow, but if one traveled even further than that, they would eventually find the cold once more.
Levi's brows furrowed. Was he... could he be lying?
"I'm from the South," he contended,
"and this is the first time I've been around snow and ice."
If this other guy wanted to say he was from some different kind of South with snow, then
fine, whatever. But if he tried to imply that Levi was lying, well... well... he didn't know what he'd do, but it'd sure make him mad.
