Vayko knew none of them could truly be impartial, not with Sita and the young she carried inside of her all carrying the Valle name. They were Valles and they were supposed to watch out for each other, but at the same time, Vayko and Vi had a unique responsibility in having to put their pack over their family. It was usually a nonissue, because the Estuary had been big enough to support multiple litters… but they were not. He nodded, because he could not leave a Valle brood completely defenseless and at least their borders could offer his aunt and her lover whom she had floozed about with some security so they did not have to worry about the wrong sort crossing through while she laid there with nursing pups.
“It feels… unorthodox… and a little council like, but with it being the whole pack, and not just a select few… I think it’s a good idea.” He offered, though he did not know how he truly felt about it. He wished he had taken the time to call for his Aunt because he trusted her guidance and experience on the matter… still, this was the price of leadership, was it not? They had to make decisions and he could not fall back on Modesto for everything. Sometimes things simply required a decision, and he trusted his gut in this matter.
