Diantha was ready to take this tussle all the way - Feyre started it, but she was going to end it! That was, until Mom started talking again, threatening to leave the girls behind. Di quickly disengaged from her sister, squirming to release herself from the retaliating leg bite, and scowling up at mom. That wouldn't be fair! Fey started it! Why should mom have to punish her if Fey was the one acting out?

The little pup didn't have the words to express this displeasure yet, so she simply stomped a paw angrily and sulked. "No." she whined. She wanted to go with mama to wherever mama was going! Fey was not going to ruin that for her!

The silver girl stayed close to her mom even while her sisters had their scuffle. She was eager to get this family outing over with so that she could go back to the cool depths of the den. Resuming her nap was the only thing she was thinking about. Even as their mother threatened they wouldn't be going to wherever it was they were supposed to be going.
Star glanced at her brother to see if she could tell what he thought about all of this. She could see that he was just as annoyed with their sisters antics as she was. Star whined trying to get them to stop so that they could move on with all of this.
The silver girl was surprised that the outburst from her sister. She couldn't believe that Di would speak against their mother.

 

Galen sighed in relief watching their mama react quickly to the antics of his rambunctious siblings and get this show back on the road, the young boy wisely choosing to steer clear of those two and instead lope closer to his favored sister of the moment. Yet, it only took a couple of strides before the troublemakers were at it again, once more earning them a reprimand from mama and...what?! Did he hear that right? There was no doubt in the boy's mind that he wouldn't mind more time with his mother, but to be used as a bargaining chip just felt cheap. Surely there would be daggers sent flying in his direction.

Ebony ears pinned themselves back and a grimace etched itself onto equally inky lips as he dared to glance back over his shoulders at his sisters. Di was definitely displeased with this option and made it known by having a small temper tantrum. Galen huffed and plopped his rump onto the ground while glancing over at Star who seemed just as unamused by all the hold-up as himself. Would they ever reach this place mama was taking them to?

Oksana felt she was a patient woman and she did her best to keep her patience with her children. However, Feyre was starting to test that patience. Then surprise briefly crossed the mothers features at the outburst from her daughter. Her eyes then narrowed in Diantha's direction. "Is that anyway to speak to your mother," she stated sternly. She wouldn't have her children speaking against her in such a manner. Oksana expected more of her children and she wouldn't have such antics.

Her orange gaze turned on Feyre, "If you think I don't know who started this you'd be wrong Feyre. Now if you want to control yourself we can get on with our trip." The crow didn't expect anymore trouble from the children. She would deal with Fey later in private. "Now let's get moving," she said turning toward the path and starting on the trail once again.

To say she was angry was an understatement. Fey wanted to play but she also didn't want to be left behind. How could mother spoil their fun? When Di pulled away from her and then spike out Feyre straightened up. Her gazed then went to Star and Galen both looking very displeased. Her head snapped back to Oksana when she heard her name. It was clear despite the calm tone of their mother that she was angry. The little blackbird wasn't used to their mother being angry, she always had such a kind tone when speaking to them.

Her dark ears flattened against her head. Fey knew she was in a lit of trouble. She realized then that she'd be lucky if she didn't get left behind. She looked over at Di and then back at her other siblings before meeting her mother's matching gaze. She wanted to go with the others so she remained quiet and in place until Oksana spoke again.

Fey followed her mother as they continued the journey to wherever mother was taking them.

Their two other siblings watched on in silence and Di did not like being the center of attention like this. Mom's light scold in response to the girl's tone had Di looking away, ears back, but she didn't say anything further. It wasn't fair! She hadn't started it, and now she was in trouble!

Much to her surprise - and secret delight - mother turned her attention to Fey and scolded her for starting the fight in the first place. Di glanced at her sister to find her sitting silently. She didn't seem any happier about the trouble than Di did, but Fey had asked for it to begin with.

Justice done with, Di jumped to her feet to follow her mother to this special activity they had planned. She wasn't about to get left behind!

Star wanted nothing to do with what was going on between Di and Fey. She was even more glad that she wasn't the one being scolded by their mother. She turned to Galen for a moment while their sisters were being dealt with. Shebwasnt really surprised when mother made it clear she knew exactly who'd started it.

Star remained quiet not wanting to draw any attention to herself. She really hoped this incident would be over soon so they could get on with things. She really didn't understand why Fey had to go amd mess things up for them.

Finally the trouble was past. Their mother was once again leading them to wherever she had planned to take them in the first place. Star fell in line behind her sisters but keeping her distance in case Fey tried to do to her what she'd done to Di.
