She met his gaze in like when he pulled back, and smiled toothily at her friend.

Magg was rather self-satisfied with the story and would have no qualms giving her version of the details. Her father arrived then, however, his voice catching her attention. Her head spun owlishly to spot him, and her tail beat the air with another bout of glee.
She answered him with a brisk nod, happy to help. There was still the walk back though first, right? She would fall into step with Galen, continuing to give him the bulk of her attention.
