Eclypse Eastfall-Slayer

Her mouth felt funny.

Her mother's tender care had indeed loosened up some mucus in the girl's chest and throat. Which now she tried to cough out even harder, of course! Mouth grossly and noisily opened wide as she attempted to clear her throat.

The outside world and her failed adventures had been forgotten by now, thankfully.

Only to be replaced by whatever this was.

She squirmed softly in her disgruntled state now, fussed by the pain in her chest from the coughing and still uncomfortable with the not-yet-free phlegm.

It seemed she only moved from one tragedy to another today, huh?

Yes, there was definite concern now as her daughter began to cough things up, continuing the smooth sensation of agitating her chest in order to encourage the rest of it to come up. It would not feel pleasant, but in the long run it would help. Seeing it all allowed her to calm somewhat… because at this point she could recognize it for what it was.

She felt foolish for thinking it was anything else. Quite foolish she was indeed… but now that she knew she could go about treating it. “I know, darling. It doesn’t feel good, does it?” She would offer in a much calmer manner as her daughter squirmed with her discomfort and disgruntled nature.

Yes, she would need to keep her indoors, and likely Moon as well due to her age. It wouldn’t hurt for even the able-bodied adults to take shifts of rest indoors during the day either. She would definitely need to speak to Nash about it.

Between the tantrum and the sudden coughing fit, Eclypse was exhausted.

She no longer wanted to fuss or fight. Especially as the soft patter of rain continued outside and the thunder rolled slowly across the skies. Now it lulled her, where it had once prompted her to be awake.

Too, too, too tired.

She yawned now and tucked herself into her mother, as she laid upon her back.
