Her eyes rolled back in her head as the speech began and she did well to temper a sigh of boredom as the other wolfs words became little more than a buzz at the edge of her senses. Of course, he was moldable. He would be whatever she chose to make of him. But, he was still far too happy and her lips curled back from her teeth in a warning. Finally the words cut out her eyes roved back over the white wolf before her, wearing an expression like an over excited pup intent on showing it’s mother exactly just how well it had done.
With little ceremony she stepped forward to grab the male about the muzzle, a hard stare enough to reinforce the message. She was at the top of the food chain and until he proved otherwise, he would stay at the bottom. A short growl sounded from her chest before she released him, stepping back out of his personal space she looked to the sky and decided it was time to head home, unless they wanted to face the treacherous drops and loose stones of the mountain in the dark. “We live this way.” she answered shortly, turning her back on the newest recruit, expecting him to follow obediently in her wake. They had a long climb ahead of them.
