Borlla Tainn-Argyris
Everything suddenly felt very real. Home. This is what it was. Home. Her home. Her skin tingled, the butterflies in her stomach tossed about. Could she do this? There was no doubt in her mind. She'd already had some experience, and since then, she had matured, she supposed, accepting this role with open arms. And so this would just be another thing she'd accept. They'd traveled this far, and now they would have to travel no longer. In song, she joined him, pride filling her call. Somewhere in the depths of her conscious was fear, hidden quiet.

Thought they'd all traveled together, she feared the acceptance of her packmates. The desire to befriend them and have them trust her was overwhelming, desperate to leak out into the world, but she was good at keeping things to herself. They would follow Phineas...They would follow her. With their howl aeolian, they would gather soon. Borlla waited anxiously for Lucero, perhaps the only one so far she could consider a true friend. She enjoyed the company of the she-wolf, so glad that she'd run into her on that fateful day.

Silence consumed them then, and as sighed, leaning into his touch, before brushing her nose beneath his jaw. They were home. They were here. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."

Sitamat 'Taqukaq' Tartok
Home, the prodigal son had yet to truly comprehend the weight of this word. He had yet to know the wealth of it's meaning, and the glories that came with it. He understood the warmth of a hearth, and the comfort of familiar company. But, in laying roots was a commodity not yet familiar. Aeolian, one could call the boy storm-tossed, and tempestuous. He was oft feeling cast adrift into this world with a simple goal in mind. It was to please Mother, it was to do as she willed him to. And by her mere presence alone amongst these wolves, Sitamat had no choice but to follow. Her shadow, her never-wavering stone about her neck. Flanking at her side then, his ears cupped towards the resounding cry, and it was an alien force. It tugged and nagged, and Sitamat found himself rather befuddled. It was by his brother's howl that fueled and tempered his own to be coaxed loose. His muzzle tilted, allowing the jaw to splay and release a heavy cry of his own in reply. A wild child, feral by every meaning of the word, he found himself ill at ease with the gathering numbers. His weight shouldered into his siblings, eyes rife with cynicism and unsure. Swallowing against the doubt, he remained quiet. His attention traveled to their Mother, awaiting her lead.

Erebos Argyris

Although the lead pair had gone ahead, Erebos was never far behind. Bored was the best way to describe his current view of their venture - he struggled to determine what it was that set one set of trees apart from the next. This wasn’t his home, but he had agreed to assist his brother and assist he would.

To allow them their alone time he had busied himself with his nose to the ground, sniffing for what prey existed in the area. He could detect the usual small game, hares and voles - and larger animals like deer, perhaps a moose. There was a sizable water source, plenty of trees (although he did miss the feeling of the sun beating down on his back). This place seemed as good to him as any - but it still wasn’t Asphodel Meadows.

He didn’t notice the buds growing on the trees, couldn’t appreciate the softness of the earth under foot or the musty smells that accompanied wet, wood and moss... but when his brothers call went up he hastened his steps to join with them and added his voice to the chorus of the others, claiming this scrap of a Glen for their own. Perhaps with time he would grow to love it, but only time would tell.

Phineas Argyris
Thanks for the quick responses everyone! MG is official and can be RPed as such!

Their songs soon rose to meet his – one by one, they slipped from the shadows of the trees to find their newfound Leaders side by side. Borlla’s voice intermingled beautifully with his own, and he felt his heart swell as she took on this challenge – he held no doubt that motherhood and leadership would suit her, despite her young age.

The pale beauty Lucero would slip between them, another addition to the pack he felt comforted by. She was a strong solid at Borlla’s side and the male was pleased to find that both had become such god friends; his mate would need such, especially with the upcoming birth of their litter.

Siku, Ataneq and Sitamat joined the howl quickly as well, and as their own howl faded they soon melted from the trees, an impressive sight by their large sizes, even despite two of them being yearlings. Inkheart echoed his sentiment of claim as well – the swarthy male had been a welcome addition, and Phineas knew the male would be steadfast and loyal, at least until nature might call him away.

Zia and Erebos beckoned last – the she-wolf was a stranger to Phineas still, and he knew he would need to seek her talents and use – she had already proven a noble hunter. Erebos, his silver littermate, brought relief to the ivory leader, despite the tension that remained between them. The day would come when he would seek out his brother, explaining the past. Admitting the wrongs he had caused. But that day was not today, and finally, as his own song ended, the ivory wolf smoothed his tongue across his lips, emitting a gentle chuff of contentment.

Bending down to garze his muzzle to the top of Borlla’s skull and to gently nudge Lucero, the male gave a silent glance of removal, pacing away from the she-wolves and the group to begin marking the land officially as theirs. The borders would need to be established.

Magnolia Glen had been born.
