Bastet Akhenaten
Maybe one more post from both of you guys? We should be able to wrap this up. Could I snag a thread with Lachesis immediately following this thread? I'm sure he'll be the one with her once she wakens ^-^

More mumbled voices reached her ears but she remained in her spot, the remaining energy she felt draining as quickly as it had come. She no longer felt the cold against her coat, instead things were numb from the neck down, therefore she was unaware that they had plans of moving her. She could not feel Maksim holding her up, though strangely enough, she was aware that something was moving her to upward against her will; it was movement similar to the ride of an elevator against the earth's gravity.A cough spilled from her jaws, her bodies reflex upon further movement, but otherwise she grew still, her body leaning with all its puny weight of 90 pounds, against the bulky form of Cut Rock River's leader which only seemed lighter once Lachesis came to her other side. They were kind enough to remove her from winter's grasp, a gesture that would likely save her life, though her leg was bleeding steadily and pus was beginning to form once more at the wound. Her body attempted feverishly to repair the damage, but without help it seemed to be doing more damage than help--the alabaster male was correct, she needed to get to his den immediately. Without control of her body, the woman's head fell toward the weight of Maskim and her nose quickly buried beneath the hairs of the males outer coat, taking in his musk subconsciously. There was no doubt that her strong senses would be able to identify one of her saviors upon awakening, simply from scent alone.

Mimi Edit: You had a bit of a hiccup in your coding that was messin' with the board--went ahead and fixed it up really quick <3.

Maksim Baranski
beat me up for taking this long! @Lachesis feel free to write up a fade-out thread <3.

Lachesis took up his position without verbal protest, which Maksim appreciated, and secured his own hold on the swarthy wolf's scruff. The Arctic offered her soothing words, that everything would be fine, and the River leader could only think hopefully. Though the man had lifted the female from the floor somewhat, the yearling shot his superior a glance and questioned if he was ready. It was time to get this mysterious stranger away from the numbing cold and into the wamrth of Lachesis' den. “On the count of three, we lift.” They wouldt truly hold her up then and move out, hopefully, allowing her escape from the biting winds. “One.” He shifted his body weight. “Two.” He squared his broad shoulders. “Three.” Heave.

The Baranski began to lift the ebony woman, huffing slightly as he did so. Her head fell to his coat, buried into the guard hairs as he tried to steady his form and her own. Her breaths were surprisingly calm, though the River leader was positive that this was, in fact, a bad thing. His eyes shifted down to her dark fur before returning to Lachesis, huffing once more into her scruff to catch his attention. “Careful of her leg,” he explained without wanting the aspiring healer to feel Maksim thought him a fool. The agouti wolf knew perfectly well that Lach was a smart lad who would grow into his choice of role well. “When you're ready.” He took a step forward, hoping to get the woman out of this blasted cold immediately.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
fade out & archive :3

<b style="font-family:georgia; color:#909892;">
The injured female seemed oddly calm, which alarmed the deer-legged yearling – was she becoming more conscious or falling deeper into unconsciousness? Waiting for the green-eyed leader’s cue Lachesis prepared himself, legs poised in anticipation. Once Maksim reached their mark he pushed upward, brows narrowed in strain as they worked together to hold the wounded female between them. Once she was in the correct position they would have to move as carefully and quickly as possible. He wasn’t sure what had happened to the dark female, but trying to figure it out in the cold without having his herbs readily available was going to do nothing for her. He was grateful that it had been Maksim who had found her first, as the yearling didn’t know what he would have done without the Alpha’s aide. Luckily XIX had been too far away or else her condition could have worsened considerably as more time passed.
He nodded absently to the male’s words, his gaze falling onto the dark, agouti male briefly before returning forward. <b style="font-family:georgia; color:#909892;">“Ready,” he responded quickly. As soon as the word left his tongue the boy started forward, mirroring the Alpha’s pace as they headed in the direction of the Cut Rock camp. Although both wolves wanted the female to get out of the cold as quickly Lachesis knew that wasn’t going to be entirely possible – they would have to move carefully to ensure that her wounds didn’t worsen. Once she was in the warmth of the den the yearling could work to figure out what had caused her collapse and treat her infected wounds; he would remain by her side to ensure that the infection did not spread over night.
Snow swirled around the trio as they moved, pace remaining steady as they neared Lachesis’ den. His mind was working nonstop to figure out which herbs he was going to give her first and exactly how he was going to treat her wounds. He would need Maksim’s help to get her into his den and then he could work quickly to mend her wounds and give her the proper herbs to bring her strength back.
