Sojourn Ranger Aquila
This post sucks, I'm sorry! D:

"I don't know what Ruiko plans," she replied honestly. "We haven't settled on our future yet." They had talked about it briefly, but they hadn't settled on anything. "I think Ruiko means to start fresh, to make his own future, but I don't know who else we could trust to begin a pack with us." It was hard to guess who, of the lone wolves, would be willing to join with them. Ruiko would be his own master, she was sure of it, but where or when she didn't know. That would come with time.

"We definitely want you with us, Kinis." She smiled, her amber eyes glittering in the sunlight.

Kinis Tainn

He knew it would be tough. It wouldn't be worth the end result if forming a pack was easy, because there would be rivals everywhere and far too much conflict. If Ruiko and Ranger did ever come to claim land, would it even be in Relic Lore? For all his reluctance to return to Swift River, Kinis didn't think he could abide leaving these lands again. He had grown to realise that they were all home, not just that little grove.

"I'm sure we could find some," he said, his thoughts on her last statement obvious. He wanted to be a part of it, no doubt. "If Ruiko found you by chance, then I'm sure we can find others who we can trust, too." It was a shame that most of the wolves Kinis had met - and liked - were all pack members already, but he vowed to keep an ear and eye out for loners in search of a home. It felt strange to have such a purpose, but if it would help Ruiko and Ranger, then he would do it.

Ranger was pleased to see that Kinis wanted to join them and that he was optimistic about finding a few lone wolves to join them. She knew that Ruiko would be picky, and rightly so, of the wolves that joined them, but even if there were a few out there that wanted to join a pack, then she was sure Kinis could convince them to join the three of them.

"I'm glad you think so," she responded quietly, her eyes resting upon his youthful frame. He was beginning to grow into a young man and he was resembling Ruiko more and more each day. Surely soon he would be breaking hearts and stealing girl's from their homes, of course by no doing of his own. Kinis would be a handsome heart-breaker soon enough. "Are you hungry? Maybe you, Ruiko and I could hunt down some game."
