A new brother? The word made his eyes practically sparkle. Although he and Indru didn't look anything alike - with the difference in fur color and size where Indru was quite big and Spooks . . not as much, just given the opportunity to interact with others greatly pleased Spooks. He stood still as a soldier in the middle of inspection as Indru assessed him, although his tail betrayed his stiff posture by steadily moving back in forth with contentment now that he was a member of a pack.

He blinked, slightly nonplussed at Indru's next words. Well, of course he didn't smell like a Swift River wolf since he just became one. But then everything clicked into place as his new leader continued with his words, then proceeded to begin brushing his fur against his in order to give him the scent of a Swift River member. The feeling of the tawny wolf's fur on his felt a bit ticklish, and Spooks giggled chuckled at the curious sensation but otherwise remained in his unmoving position as he waited for Indru to finish.

A puppyish chuckle escaped the young wolf beside him as Indru was attempting the very serious business of marking him, making him smell like one of them: a wolf of the 'River and he tried to remain stoic before failing and laughing himself. It's not meant to be funny! His attempts at trying to look serious and 'grumpy' as presumed earlier falling away as fast as the water down Bramble Falls. Unless you like smelling like a warthog. With a gentle shove Indru rounded around the back of Spooks and tried to trail his fur closely up his other side, pulling away from him when he reached his muzzle and turning around to face him. Much better.

Once Indru had checked the male new scent, nodding in satisfaction he watched him for a moment, smiling at him. So, Indru began, looking down at his paws and flicking his tail nonchalantly behind him letting the boy's eagerness he suspected he had for what happened next draw on. Ready to go see home?
