Silver
( @Rayne wanna wrap this up with your next post?)

She chuckled at his words of maybe he did or maybe he didn't. Silencing herself Silver listened to him tell about where he came from. Yawing silently she rested her head on his paws. "That sounds beautiful Rayne. Tell me more." Her eye filled with a wonder for the place he used to call home. Just in those few sentences it sounded like a paradise. It seemed to her that from his words everyone had full stomachs. A place where no one would starve, it was like a heaven.

Listening to Rayne and his heart beat she slowly slipped into a light sleep. Not yet fully asleep yet not fully conscious. The perfect state to be in. She felt safe to. Feeling the warmth off of Rayne yet being able to hear everything faintly made her know nothing wrong was going to happen. The howling of the wind was the only thing sending shivers down her back. It gave off a strange unsettling noise. Like someone was out there but no one really was. Just one of mother nature's many tricks. Mother Nature was always impressing Silver. With it's endless possibilities. Just like this very winter. It was a way of Mother Nature telling them she was strong and controlled fate. Silver held no doubt in it too.

In a comfortable spot pressed into Rayne she was finally slipping into a full sleep. Her breathing slowing down. The whole world around her becoming dark. Not even the howling of the winds disturbed her darkness of slumber. It was as if the whole world was sleeping altogether at once.

Rayne Flint
( @Silver sure!)

When urged to speak more of his home, Rayne realised with a jolt how utterly relaxed he was around Silver. A similar thing had happened with Aideen when they first meet yet somehow, this seemed to have a much deeper impact on the usually shy wolf. A little stunned at the thought, Rayne slowly started again describing his home in more detail.

”Well, it was the most beautiful place, at least to me.” He rumbled in agreement, a loving fondness spreading in his heart as he thought more of the land in which he grew up in. It was indeed nothing short of a paradise, where the nearest pack was over one of the mountain ranges and far away so territorial fights were rare and easily faught. Their pack was large yet everyone had a place and purpose, no one disliked each other. Rayne told this all to the girl at his side- well, other than the mention that his sisters were widely disliked, because of certain reasons. But he wasn’t going to mention that just yet to Silver- and more. The was mentions of sparkling rivers that drew in big game and of deep winters with just enough food stored and little game to find in the snow. He spoke of his siblings and parents, of how his parents were always proud of them and what they achieved.

It was only when Rayne paused in his story to look down at Silver did he notice that she had fallen asleep at his side, having been curious when no more questions arose from the black beauty. His eyes softened warmly as he stared at her. Lowering his head, he laid it again on her shoulders gently and close his eyes. Once they woke up and were sure the storm was done, he would stay by her side and follow this dame back to her pack. For whatever reason, as sleep coaxed him to join Silver in the land of dreams, there was a need to protect and serve the female. To guard her against what was troubling her.

He wanted to help her heal and even if she rejected his feelings, if it meant she was laughing like she was earlier without pain, then that would make him the happiest wolf in the world.
