Placing her paws carefully Rebecca tried to avoid causing any noise. She didn't yet know anything about this part of Relic Lore, but the smell of wolves started to be much stronger than anywhere else she had traveled. It was sign of pack territory. Once again Reba did what she shouldn't do, she entered to new lands owned by someone. More than she could count Reba had been in danger due her bad habbit. But she was hopelessly curious about life in packs. In every situation she tried understand the life she once had.

It felt strange in here. Forets remindeed her about something. Distant memories she couldn't catch. Like always.
Carefully Rebecca traveled deeper to Sacred Grove, listening all voices around. Cool air made her feel little easier for some reason. Walking in the bushes she saw deers behind the trees on her left side. Wind blew her smell directly to their noses and all quickly disappeared in the woods. Good that she wasn't hunting, it was now impossible. Shaking her head Rebecca kept going. She sniffed the leaf, sniffed the ground, stiffened. Fresh scent of other wolf. Not good.
Reba lifted he head and looked all around. She saw no one, but that didn't mean there wouldn't be anyone. Sniffing the air, listening. No interesting odours, silent. Trying to make herself small Reba sneaked ahead, carefully, slowly.

Indru Tainn

The musky scent of the strange female permeated the air but the key fact, the thing that kept her explorations simply that, was that she had not yet crossed the borders Indru had so meticulously marked. He knew that by now unless she had no sense of smell the dominant odour that coated the Grove that belonged him must be apparent and obvious to her—the pack was strong and it's strength was clear in the many scents that underlined his own. However it was a defensive manoeuvres, and admittedly a little curiosity, that had Indru treading near silently through the forest he knew so well to find the near-intruder, black nose sniffing the air gently as his brown ears twisted and twitched as he identified each sound that reached him.

Unsurprisingly with her close proximity and scent it did not take long for Indru to come across a dark furred shewolf sneaking through the grove, making herself as small as she was able—though for what purpose Indru had not decided. Alone, a wolf was not much threat to a pack but her movements were certainly suspicious and thus he decided to treat her as such—for now at least. She was smaller than he was, a fact not uncommon with Indru's intimidatingly considerable size and bulk, but she had bright blue eyes that reminded him of a puppy's though the scent and size of her told him otherwise—she was young, but an adult still. Quickly, using his knowledge of the forest to his advantage, Indru looped around until he was infront of her, watching the female for a moment more before he stepped out into clear sight before her, his body every bit the picture of dominance and leadership. Though his posture marked his high role within the pack it was not yet unwelcoming or friendly, his tail had risen above his back and his head was lifted proudly, but his fur remained flat along his spine and his teeth were hidden. Yet not a word nor a growl came from him as he waited, watching the female with an expectant and curious expression.

Rebecca didn't watch ahead, she stared to the bushes on her right side. It felt like something had moved there, but nothing came out and she decided it was nothing more than a rabbit. Turning her head a brute, so large and great, came visible in front of her. His position showed pure dominance and Reba was sure about one fact: she had now met the leader of the pack living here. Thing she had been trying to avoid. Reba stopped and eyed the large brute. Large size meaned that he wasn't fast. At least one positive thing, it should be easy for fast Reba to outrun him. But the pack may include other fast wolves, or she could run straight to ambush.

For now, the bruter wasn't attacking. Reba lifted her tail above her back, keeping head high, jsut like the brute. She was her own leader, and not going to take orders from anyone. Keeping her mouth closed and teeth hidden she tried to calm the situation. Fighting would be bad thing, but Rebecca had never fleed. And she was not going to flee this time either. Proudly she walked closer to the brute, looking for all signs of agression.

Indru Tainn

While Indru did not seek submission from the female his claim on these lands were clear by the scent dominant, musky scent that hung around them like a cloud—supported by the many other wolves that called Swift River home. She rose her own posture in defiance at the rightful claim he had to defend his lands and stepped closer to him—a clear challenge to his role as a leader in these lands—the male bristled in response, the hair along his spin rising and his head shifted forward in warning. Careful wolf, his tone was calm but it had an easy confidence too it, not only was this female unlikely to win in a fight against him they were nearby his pack and even if his subordinates did not notice her scent in a moments notice he could send a howl and they would come.

It was common courtesy when at another pack's borders to offer respect to those that lived there, even more so to the leader, and Indru had been put on guard by the fact that if he had not made his presence known it looked likely that she would have crossed over them without pause. No mistaken could have been made either; the very earth around them screamed of the claim the River wolves had here. This wolf, however, when faced with the leader had challenged his authority here something that Indru would not accept, especially if she was seeking something from them. What is your purpose here? His question was direct and his tone implied that he expected an answer, this pack had pups and any lone wolf should know that being near a pack borders when there was youth nearby was a cause to tread carefully.

Rebecca enjoyed the situation. not because she was in life threat, but because she had a good view to pack's rankings. One more thing she had never been able to feel herself. Ignoring the words and question of the brute Reba started to sircle around him. Tail still above her back, now wagging joyfully, Head swinging up and down while she investigated the brutes body. She noticed every single position of his muscles, every fur that was kept higher than others. And evry single detail she set to her memory. Loner now, one day Reba was going to be the leader.

Whens he had went round couple times, she stopped right in front of him, staring in the eyes. Tail lowered slighlty, head still up she faced the dominant wolf of the pack. His eyes were bright yellow, just like her father used to have...

<b>"Nothing special, just wandering around, trying to find your pack's den."</b> Rebecca finally answered lightly. She knew that it may sound suspicious, but to her this was only game. Her purpose truly was to find the pack's den, but also to follow the pack's daily life. Get to know how pack works. She always did that when she found a new pack.

Indru Tainn

As the female then turned to try and circle him her audacity shocked him for a moment before he caught himself and snarled throatily, turning as the female tried to circle him so that she only met his snarling muzzle each time she tried to get round him. When she paused infront of him, staring directly in his eyes and only challenging his rank further Indru darted forward and snapped, teeth aimed for this females muzzle for clearly she was at a loss of how wolf etiquette was. No wonder she was a loner and without a pack—with her actions no leader would accept her.

She spoke and stated her purpose and didn't even try to hide her true intentions, confirming Indru's suspicions of her intentions to cross through his packs borders. Anger coated the leaders body and his head dropped to cover his throat, ears perked forward, as his muzzle wrinkled and his teeth flashed once more. You'll go no where near my pack's den, the threat in his voice was clear, the undercurrent of his throat snarl only backing it up—where his family was concerned Indru had no use for empty threats, if she wished to try and trespass to the den where his pups slept she should be prepared for the consequences. If I see you anywhere near it if you're lucky you'll be running from these lands yelping with wounds to lick, then he would test how fast she thought she was with a pack of wolves following her—she was not so small she was uncatchable and there were more than plenty of wolves her size. Besides, she was yet to meet Corinna and he knew that any threat to their children would have his mate seeking more than to just wound.

Leave, his word came out more as a snarl than a spoken word and again he darted forward, teeth bared, as they snapped and aimed to wound the females face or shoulder.

Rebecca didn't dodge when the brute attacked. She closed her eyes and sighed happily. Then the single word "leave" finally swiped through her mind. Eyes blinked open as she stared at the brute seeing only yellow eyes from her memories. She shook her head trying to get the odd feeling off. It left and she had all her brain capacity in use again.

<b>"Leave? Why? What do you think I would at the den? Kill the pups or something?"</b> Reba surprised. Usually she hid herself well eougn to get to the den and observe the situation in peace for some time before running away.
<b>"Rude. All I want to do is to find out how wolves with packs live, and you say leave? Let me tell you, that's rude!" </b>she then said with amazed face while turning and walking away to the same direction she had came from.
On the egde of the woods she stopped and turned her head. <b>"I know I don't behave like I should to. Try to learn right behavior when you lose you're family before you have learned everything and after that all wolves just chase you away."</b> Rebecca still said with blaming tone before running to the forest.

Indru Tainn

The irony, metallic taste of blood reached Indru's tongue, but still it did not seem the wound was enough to penetrate this females thick skull. She seemed shocked that he wanted her to leave and if he wasn't so angry he would of laughed in surprise. No lone wolf will cross my pack's territory unless they have a death wish. Trespassing was a near unforgivable act in Indru's eyes and as this wolf seemed to admit to planning to do so freely without any concern he would have no leniency for her. At the mention of the possible threat to his pups, even if it was meant flippantly, he snarled once more stepping closer to the female as the hackles along his fur only increased his already intimidatingly large size.

Eventually—finally—she turned and left and Indru left a deep snarl follow her as she turned and walked away from the pack's borders. Her sob story had no effect on him, wolves had instincts and she should learn to listen to them instead of boldly walking around like she was exempt to the usual wolf etiquette. He watched her until she disappeared and then waited until her scent too began just a unpleasant memory before he turned around and headed back home, to the lands where only River wolves were entitled to cross.

Rebecca was still young and stupid. She had never had real discussions with other wolves and only things in her life that really mattered were surviving and learning. First part had went well, she was alive, next part... Poorly. Always there was that little voice telling her what to do, but unfortunately Reba didn't want to listen to it. She listened her mind instead of heart, that was her weakness. And once again, due that wakness she had a wound. Only now noticing she was bleeding, Reba stopped and sat down to see where the wound actually was.
<b>"Nice!"</b> Reba thought as she felt the wound right under her eye. Hopefully it would become scar. Her idol was her mother, and she had never seen a wolf wo could stand so large amounts of pain without blink of an eye. And also her mother had scar on her face, going beatifully over her eye.

Thinking to go back and thank the friendly wolf, Rebecca turned around and rushed to the clearing she had met the wolf. But she was late, the brute ahd already left. Listening around, sniffing she figured out which way the brute had went. And due her childness Reba went and followed the scent.

When she came to the clearly marked border, she came to a halt. reba didn't want to die, and she was sure that the brute would kill her without hesitation. That's okay, so would she when attacked, if she could. The thing was, she couldn't. For the second time in her life, Rebecca listened her heart instead of mind that wanted to go and thank the wolf, and sat down, waiting for the brute to come back. She made sure not to let even one hair crossing the border and waited.

Indru Tainn

Though he stalked away from the she-wolf, his fur still bristling in anger and a deep grumble still growling through is chest at her actions, he had not travelled far—to trust that she would go so easily and suddenly obey would have been absurd, and with pups around he was just not willing to risk it. As Indru rounded the borders again after spending time nearby marking them, increasing the quiet threat and danger they posed by making sure the scents around them were fresh, he wasn't entirely surprised to smell a familiar and unwelcome scent at them—the black female, back already.

Expecting her to be trying to sneak on past them and 'see the pack den' as she claimed Indru barrelled towards the scent a rolling ball of anger; fur risen to extremes on his back only making him larger as a wild snarl escaped from his throat. When she fell into sight he was slightly surprised to see her sitting on the edges, not yet crossing, but it did little to fight of his anger. What d'you want, wolf? You're treading dangerous ground. He could see the wound he had left on his cheek from a few wolf-lengths away, but that had done seemingly nothing to control her wild ways, and couldn't help but wonder what her true intentions were as he stood waiting, fiery eyes boring into her own.
