Bramble Falls The New Kid

Cadence's eyes held a new glint,it was indeed frightening;hunger <i><b>"yes" </b></i> came her reply. And not far from where they were sat a hare,with out warning Cadence crept closer and soon she was apon the poor thing and in one bite the hare stopped struggling. Dropping her kill Cadence licked her leather and grinned before starting to eat.

Rebecca laughed. <b>"That was fast"</b> she grinned. Not often you met a good hunter who could just sneak and kill. Without any chasing what so ever. Sitting down again Reba scratched her neck with hind leg of hers. Then she turned her head to Cadence and watched while she ate. <b>"So where did you come from? Too early to ask?"</b>

Cadence licked the blood from her muzzle before speaking " <b>it was half dead and in that stuperous state they tend to be in befor they are claimed. Usally there is a chase</b>" Cadence ate quickly and soon there wasn't much left on the carcass. "<b> I came from a small pack of blood thirsty wolves,my mother on the other hand was the peacekeeper,and that's all you need to know"</b> Cadence streched and started back to the path they had left <b>"where are you headed?"</b>

Rebecca listened carefully. Blood thirsty wolves... Just like her grandparents.
<b>"I was thinking to go over Mountain of Dire. Know it? There are unexplored places on the other side of it. I'm going to be the first one there."</b> Reba told and waited for her reaction. Would she think it was childish? It surely wasn't. The Mountain was hard place, going over it was nearly insane. It could be easier to over Riddle Heights, but taht would be boring and the scenery would not be even as nearly outstanding as it was in the Mount Dire.

Cadence yawned again and her teeth made a loud snap as she closed her mouth "over the mountian, don't see why you should go alone. I'm coming with you and that's final" Cadence looked at the younger wolf, why that? There was something to Rebecca,something that was disturbed by voilence.

Rebecca's tail started to wag and she licked her nose with happy, cheerful look in her eyes. She had the feeling that they could make great friends. She stood up and pointed her ears towards Mountain of Dire. <b>"Let's go then! It's not a long walk to there, much longer way is over it."</b> She started walking looking over her shoulder would Cadence follow. Tail stil spinning in the air, steps light and high.

Cadence stood and wagged her tail,it was good to have a companion again. Cadence sat a moment looking at the mountian before trotting to Rebecca's side. Her strides remained the same,long and ground covering it never changed from the march that had been so drilled into her brain.
Once and a while snow would grow to heavy for a branch and both would crash to the forest floor. Cadence snapped at a dead leaf the was floating in front of her.

Reba watched as the 'wounded' leaf fell to forets floor. Giggling she jumped over Cadence and ran few steps away. Wagging her tail she stiffened her muscles ready for play. Front body lowered, eras pointing forward. She didn't know did Cadence liked playing around, but she loved it! Only seldom she ahd a chance to play, lack of friends to play with.

Cadence growled playfully and ran towards Rebecca, head down. If she timed it right Cadence's large cranium would smack into Rebecca's chest. Her bushy tail was up and her ears were pressed flat against her head

When Cadence ran closer Reba first squeaked and then laughed keeping her eyes on the upcoming wolf. She slightly crouched while waiting for the right moment. Then, jsut before Cadence would hit her she used her powerful backlegs and jumoed in the air landing straight to Cadence's back. Growling playfully she gently bit Cadence's tail.
