Rihael Tainn

It was a struggle, as usual, for Rihael to sit still during the meeting— and not totally because he still possessed the same hyperactivity that had fueled his misadventures as a young pup, though in some ways, his curiosity was something that would probably never cease. No, Hael sat obediently, fiery gaze aimed directly at his paws as roles were discussed. One by one, River wolves he did and didn't know voiced their requests, explaining their skills, volunteering for positions that all sounded so exciting! And what could Hael do? Just sit there, daydreaming of the day when he'd be old enough to become a Guardian or a Hunter... although, he reasoned to himself, maybe his guarding skills needed a little work, given his encounter with that weird white female.

Hael's ears perked as Mom spoke again. Uncle Triell, a Guardian? That was great! He beamed at his uncle, tail thumping against the ground beside him excitedly. Hael didn't know who the others were, besides Ice of course, but he took note only briefly of those from whom he was supposed to start learning. Healing? Bleh, boring! But Hael kept his mouth shut, watching as, one by one, the wolves began to leave. As Kisla settled down beside him, he listened to his mother's question, a mischievous grin spreading across his masked, mud-coated features. "Hunting," he responded simply. "For woooorms!" The last word was meant to be spooky, and he wriggled his nose into his sister's side, hoping she was squeamish enough to be grossed out. After all, she was a girl, and of course girls hated worms.

Inactive II. Subordinate
Finn Millinae
Finn dipped her head graciously, dark eyes lighting up. Finally, a chance
to prove myself. She smiled softly, her tail-tip flicking for a moment, looking
around as some of the wolves began to leave. Her eyes fell upon a white female
walking away. Athena. This would be the wolf she was to scout out prey with.
How exciting.

With a smile towards her leader, the cheery wolf turned on heel, padding towards
the den. She was absolutely exhausted, and would most definitely need energy,
for she and Athena would be spending a day out looking for prey. She found a com-
fortable spot to lay, and with that, she curled up with her tail covering her cold ebon
nose.
