No worries :)

The explanation that ensued was lengthy, if not informative. The old man first offered some insight to Trisden concerning his reasoning behind the ruckus Kade had come upon as he'd rushed to the heir's side. Though he was initially taken aback that it was not he who was addressed first, the man quickly concluded that it was both appropriate and warranted that Trisden was offered the first of the light to be shed, and he listened openly as his tail flickered behind him. Afterward, Follko spoke his piece, at times cutting a gaze in the Guardian's direction. It was true that the novel Hollow wolf would not have known of Trisden's disappearance, and as he carried Jaysyek's scent there was little doubt that there was honesty in many of his chosen words.
Still, if this man was an elected pack teacher, Kade did not believe he should be demonstrating his skills to a wolf he said himself he thought was a loner, far from Grizzly Hollow territory. But Kade was but a protector, and education was hardly his forte. Either way, Follko had crossed the line, and it just so happened the coal-coated brute happened upon the trio in the heat of the moment. If what the old man said was true, and he had pledged himself to the benefit of the children, there was no use in harming him, but here and now he would know his place within their ranks.
"I am sure your teachings will not be your only contribution to our pack. Perhaps in the future you would do well to conduct your lessons closer to home." As much as he wanted to reiterate the fact that the low ranking had disrespected Trisden, he understood that there was no ill intention and it was not lost upon him that he was not there himself as the events unfolded. Although he disapproved of the fiasco as a lesson, if that was what it was, he would be satisfied to settle the matter and move foreward with the new pack mate that he'd met in the most peculiar and hostile of moments.
The male remained eye-to-eye with the old man as he hoped his point had gotten across well enough; Trisden was a treasure, and her return would bring joy to Grizzly Hollow. The princess would have her say, and Kade would make quick work of delivering her to her mother and the safety of the Cedar forest. "My name is Kade Attaya, and I trust this will be last time you regard the youth of our pack with such reckless judgment."
It was then he leaned slowly from Trisden's touch, a reminder that it was time, while tactfully lowering his posture and shifting his gaze to Chantille, who had been watching quietly on the side lines. He knew his reaction to them all had been brash, though he felt it necessary. There would be an appropriate moment for an apology, but it was not now. It was of the upmost importance that the Lyall female return to their home, and he was ready to get her there. His stare was softer as it fell upon the chocolate hues of the woman's eyes, and silently he truly hoped she would understand.
