His paws were hot with the anticipation of the hunt. Brown eyes watched as the slender white woman crept behind a boulder silently. She slipped around the herd, soon driving the weakest away from the rest. Bleats ripped through the quiet mountain air; his tail raised as he felt himself come forth. He kept himself low to the rocks as Athena brought him around. She was graceful- she reminded him of a fox. Slender yet still wolf-like, her limbs well toned and her face feminine. Scrunching up his nose, Vium snapped out of his observations and back to the goat.
As the bulky creature neared, Vium sprang upwards. His muscles began to work, shifting beneath his dark coat as he moved toward the goat. The creature was so concentrated on escaping Athena's grasp that it did not notice Vium until the last moment. Vium came head-on, but at the last moment, he swept himself toward the left, reaching his muzzle in toward the animal's neck. With a heavy snap of his jaws, he latched himself onto the base of the neck, forming a death-grip. He wasn't going to let go.
The dark man used his body as an anchor, pushing himself into the goat as it struggled to free itself. Small rocks scattered about as the tussle continued. Vium began to grind his teeth in the flesh of the goat. Hopefully it would fall soon..... Athena's final touch was needed, though.
