Phineas Argyris
The ivory wolf stood at the borders, his large figure held in a neutral stance. His paws shifted, feeling the gentle crunch of the frosted ground of early morning – winter was coming, and his eyes lifted to trace the leaves, noting a spare few had already begun to change color. At one time autumn had been his preferred season – the beauty of the iridescent hues and the crisp cool of the air had always exhilarated him. Now it just reminded him of her and what she had taken from him.

Blinking his fiery eyes, the Argyris male settled back to his haunches, waiting for a border patrol to find him. The wind worked in the pack’s favor – his scent should have been carried to them by now and while the pale wolf would have been more particular about finding a home prior, Phineas found himself caring very little of making any form of ‘plans’ right now. For the time being, he needed a place to call home, whether temporary or not, where he could start a new life and forget the little faces of the children that had turned out not to be his.

Elettra Archer
Once more she was the first to arrive at the scent of a stranger at their boarders, just as she had been with Kanosak. Though recently Sica had arrived, Shade had made his presence there, leaving her to wonder where he might have gone now. And whats more, where Remy had gone, a woman who's sole duty was to guard her leaders both by task of Guardian and both o Second in position within the pack. Though it seemed Remy was covering keeping all the members in their place to keep from challenging leadership (as the Second should to) Elettra had yet to see her meeting a wolf at the boarders when Elettra herself has arrived.
For a few moments she stood afar, awaiting her two fellow Guardians to come onto the scene before her so that she may study how they handled their jobs. Her members were on a constant testing, Elettra always making sure her members did not grow lazy with their duties once they had been fully obtained. Though they may work hard to achieve the task, Elettra would not accept anything less but working hard to keep said task.
She sighs, impatience pulling at her and in time, comes to a slow approach with certain hesitance in hopes that still others may arrive. She eyes him upon a silver-pale gaze as she draws nearer. He was white - as white as the coats of her ancestors had been before mingling with the dark of her mother, breaking it's code and traditions with that act of courtship. "Why are you here?" Her dark tones ask simply, her stance remaining high with an air of dominant nature, though she remains lax for the time being, without the overly aggressive and hot-headed demand for attention seeing as he already awaited her with obvious reason.

Rosealia pushed her way through the gently whispering willows. She had just finished a small solo hunt, basically a rabbit chase that had not turned in her favor. But now, the ecru woman had ventured towards where her leader's strong scent was.

Elettra could take care of herself, yes, Rose was no fool; she had no duties and every once in a while, the tiny wolf wanted to make sure her leader was healthy. It wasn't really her duty to do so because there were several wolves above her-actually, many. As she padded around in the low grass, she couldn't help but shake the familiar smell of Phineas. Why was he here? Surely not to join the pack? One or two new wolves had also walked into the pack, although, they had barely shown their faces. As a matter of fact, Rose craved to meet the new wolves and make herself known to the family because she still hadn't met Remy, Reed, or Koda. With a sigh, she beat it to the little area of the forest where Elettra had just seemed to appear. Agita ran through her veins like blood.

The wind whipped through her pelt and brought the scent of water to her from a nearby water source, probably bramble falls. Her yellow orbs glared at the two talking. Elettra seemed to be extremely calm and Phineas was pretty curt with his body language. She slowly padded up to the pair of familiar wolves and dipped her head. "It's good to see you, Phineas." She murmured softly, smiling and dipping her head to Elettra as well. She had given this ivory wolf directions around Relic Lore, but the memory brought back pangs of Shade and bittersweet reminders of Valiant that she didn't want to think of.

Narimé Lagina
Gonna jump her in and then back out again. :) busy busy busy..

That night and day was already going better than Narimé's previous week had gone. She caught herself a good meal of ground hog fairly early in the dark morning. Then began hunting for something to drop into the caches. What luck she had. The young girl had come upon a doe and a fawn. The fawn had an injured leg and though the doe was sticking by its side Nari had been able to scare away the mother and take the fawn for herself. The young woman knew that she couldn't tell the others that she had hunted the poor thing. It was just luck that she had found it before a fox or coyote. However it would still help the pack caches.

With a full belly it took quite some time to drag the fawn along under her paw steps. Narimé took most of her time that day just dragging the thing back to Willow Ridge territory. Bright orange and yellow leaves littered her path as she approached the border. The leaves on the ground were long and thin with smooth edges. Glancing upward the young woman realized that the leaflets were falling from the willow trees. Fall was here, and she had not even realized where her summer had gone. I was too busy looking for da.. She thought quietly then dropped her catch and began sniffing out the border. Quickly she mared a few trees while she passed then picked up her meal and began trotting along the edge. The young wolf had found quite a nice straight path back without bumping into trees along the way. But she had to find the path first. It was by that tall pine tree... She spotted the tree and loped toward it, the fawn bumping off her chest with each stride.

Just after reaching the single pine tree Nari spotted movement farther to her left along the border. A flash of light and dark shapes told her that someone was near the border. Dropping the fawn near the pine so that she could scent better Narimé glanced through the trees and spotted a few wolves. It looked like two or three wolves, white, gray, and black were at the border not too far away. scenting the air the young female recognized Elettra's, Roses scents and another unknown one. A loner?

She picked up her fawn edging closer to the pair of wolves just to see what was going on. With a few low "huffs" Narimé gave her location away to Elettra and the loner then padded a bit closer. A white male wolf was sitting patiently at the border. Maybe he's joining? She thought to herself then spied her black alphess obviously conducting business with the male. Rosealia was nearby as well. Nari flicked her ear in greeting to the gray female. She was glad Elettra wasn't alone while doing a border patrol.

Narimé tried to catch Elettras eye then dipped her head in greeting and pointed her nose towards the territory. She couldn't speak so much with the food in her muzzle, but at least Elettra should get the point that Nari was saying hi and was gonna go put her food back at the den. Then quietly she slipped away towards her straight path into their territory. The fawns legs dragged in the leaves as it thudded along underneath her towards the den.(You can skip her since she's not technically there now)

Phineas Argyris
The scent of a she-wolf came to him first, though Phineas did not sight her at first. Her scent mingled dominantly upon the borders, and only when the dark Leader emerged from the foliage to reveal herself (had she been watching him?) did he note that she was clearly the regal of the land. Fiery orange eyes regarded her indifferently momentarily, noting the near cold tones as she questioned him. Already curious if he should have done more research for his next home, the alabaster wolf lowered his muzzle and large figure respectfully. “Winter is coming and I am searching for a home.” His words implied that he was unsure if it would be permanent or not; time would tell.

Opening his jaws to affirm that he was not a waste of space to her ranks, Phineas’ gaze sharply darted from the ebony female to regard a familiar form; Rosealia. “Rosealia,” he greeted hesitantly, the corner of his lips quirking in the beginning of a grin at the pretty she-wolf. She and her mate had been the first wolves he had met within Relic Lore, and the Argyris male had gained some insight from them regarding the lands.

The scent of another would infiltrate his senses then, and the ivory male tipped his muzzle back to catch view of a she-wolf, her pelt glistening a stunning silver. It was quite the welcome party he had seemingly gained, and Phineas allowed himself to be impressed with the pack’s upper hand at keeping their borders well maintained. The silent female offered only a nod; her mouth clasped over a fawn, and blinking, the ivory rogue focused his attention back to the Leader. “I am an excellent hunter and scout, and have been considered a warrior at my homelands,” he offered her, knowing she would likely want some insight. “I left my previous pack recently due to personal.. problems.” He hesitated, his shoulders rolling back to a light shrug. He was unwilling to share his sobs tory of his traitorous mate and best friend; the children he had raised as his own.. and he very much doubted she wanted to hear it.

Elettra Archer
if anyone else still wants to come in, they are free to! *pokes guardians & council*

Her two hunters had come along, surely by the constant moving in and out of the pack lands in chase of prey. But what of her Guardians? Remy, Shade and perhaps even Kanosak whom showed interest in the task? Where was her partner, the leader whom she had seen less and less over the past month? She was irritated with those she assumed to becoming lazy on their jobs. If the hunters could pull their weight, if the healers could tend to Nina just fine and if Skana could prove her worth as an Advisor, then how come her Guardians could not watch the boarders and keep watch over their fellow members, less accustom to the art of protecting and fighting? Her lip twitches with irritation, her tail shuttering out behind her in stiffness. Though the boiling anger in the woman is left to remain overflown for the new comer before her.
"Simply enough put." She speaks to the ivory colored stranger, before her attention is offered briefly to Gabrielle in a dipping of her muzzle and then to Narime, whom was fast moving with yet another catch for the pack's food supply. She was proud of these two women, whom had showed much effort in their roles as the pack's hunters, keeping them all well fed and healthy individuals. Though there was three hunters, perhaps even this was not enough with how well the pack was growing, even if perhaps a few had come due to the warning of winter. Other then this man, Phineas, as Gabrielle spoke it, Sica had been the only other to mention a need to join by the coming of winter. Though Elettra's interest in Sica and his interest in her could have proved more. This man however....?
The corners of her lips turn up in a smirk, taking note to the interest the rogue male before her held now that he had seen already a gathering of wolves around the boarder, to show its growth and activity. Though Elettra would have longed to show Phineas the power of her council and guards, this did just well enough. Only recently had men become more of an addition to her pack where else it had otherwise seemingly remained a pack of Amazons then anything else. "A hunter, scout, and a warrior, you say?" Her lips purse in interest, though Sica himself had quite the variety of training under his belt as well. Even Elettra was well trained in fighting and Kyrie although aspiring to be a healer, was a grand hunter herself. Much of her pack mates held the ability to take on different tasks where it was needed, though as regulation, chose a role specifically as a duty to uphold as their placement amongst the group, each working together to strengthen the whole of Willow Ridge.
"As long as you can assure these problems of your previous pack will not become a problem to ours, they are thus problems I care not to meddle into." She assures him with these words she has no intention to poke and pry into areas he would not like her to be in. Little members knew anything of her own past, if any of them at all for that matter. And although she had gained some insight on Sica's background and hints of Shade's, she knew nothing else. Though curiosity tugged at her and she would have liked to know more of them, surely, poking her nose in someone's past was not her cup of tea, as she did not enjoy it being done to her. Whatever happened in her packmate's past was just this - the past. Her members would all start anew here, so long as their past did not follow them and threat the pack. They would all be judged in her eyes, surely, though judged upon a clear slate.
"My name is Elettra Archer," She offers properly, respectfully and with even a nobility as she bows her head down with her greeting before uplifting again, buying him enough time to formerly introduce himself, as well. "The Leader here, as you may know." Her attention shifts to Gabrielle delicately once more if she wanted to speak anything before her attention returned to Phineas again. "I am grateful to admit that my pack is blessed with hunters, warriors, and scouts alike. Though as able bodies, there is room for more. We are a hard working pack, each member pulling their weight by choosing a specific role and thus, a specific placement within the group. Of course, quite a number of us our well rounded in other aspects, as you..." She says this, so that he may know although he would have to in time chose which role he would like to take in the pack, he was free to help with other tasks as well and perhaps even should he grow tired of his chosen task, pick anew. "If a home for the winter is what you seek, then you will work as effectively as every other member here, to insure our pack's success through the winter." Or be otherwise, kicked out for his laziness, which she had a way of doubting he would do, granted he had named his abilities up front to her. "If you choose to stay, it is then I will offer you my trust as an official addition to our pack, our family. If you do not, then I hope you at least bid farewell." It is then she offers a full smirk and a wave of her tail as she takes to examine the new addition to their pack.

Phineas Argyris
Phineas stilled his figure, his gaze briefly searching the features of the dark lady before him, but never making eye contact. Grateful that she did not question him of his past – for he did not wish to dwell on recent wounds – his ears flickered forward as he listened to her words, giving a light nod of acceptance to her words. “They are not problems that will haunt me here,” he assured, his ivory tail giving a small sway in the air.

The large male listened to her words, his own muzzle dipping in mirror of her own actions and greeting. She seemed a regal she-wolf, and the male was comforted that he would be comfortable living under another’s rule. For a season, at least. “Phineas Argyris, previous Leader of Asphodel Meadows,” he returned, holding back the curl of his lips as the name of his birth pack left a bitter taste on his tongue. By now he assumed Thorne would have taken his position as Leader and had claimed his whelps fully – for a moment a light twinge grasped at the male’s heart with the thoughts of the two boys he had left behind – it was likely they would not even remember him as they grew older.

“Thank you for the welcome, lady Elettra. I assure you I will work as hard as any of your true loyalists,” he murmured, his head remaining lower and his eyes focusing now upon her shoulder. Acceptance had been easier than he had imagined, and while he assumed the truth he had offered her regarding his possible departure come spring was not desired, he knew he would repay her generosity by offering all he could during his stay. With everything finalizing, the ivory male held back slightly as the other wolves began to maneuver themselves back to their territory, the newcomer loping at a respectful distance to their heels.
