Terra Anne
Random even of there is A thick fog in Willow Ridge territory. (just so you know Nari is gonna joing this too) XD

She was cold. She was hungry. She was no longer thirsty. No, Anne had found a water source not too far away. However most of all, Terra Anne was scared...

Not long after she had started searching for a human road again than did Terra find herself padding through a whole host of wolf scents. Frankly it scared her so much that she had to relieve herself right near the wolfs border. She glanced around gazing at the Salix willow tree species that grew heavily in this forest. That means the water table is high here. It will flood a lot during rainy seasons... She shoved the tid bit of information into the back of her mind where all of the other useless nature facts were stored.

The young wolf had no clue what a wolf border was. She knew not the rules of wolf society. All she knew was that wild wolves were dangerous. That they could rip her to shreds in an instant. Thinking back on her prior meetings with other wolves Anne remembered that they had not attacked her. Even after running away from them she wondered why they had not attacked her. One wolf even tried to give her a rabbit as a present. But why? She lurked slowly further and further into Willow Ridge territory not knowing how dangerously close she was getting to the den.

The only thing that saved her from blundering right in on the den was the increasing wolf scent. It unnerved the female causing her to change direction. I really don't want to meet any more wolves.. She whimpered a bit then felt a little more at ease as the wolf scent drifted away. She seemed to realize that she wasn't in the right place. Anne couldn't believe there was so many different wolf scents in this one area. Even if the scents she smelled now were older. Picking up her pace the yearling ran still trying to find her way out of this wolf ridden forest. She didn't realize that she was going in circles still in the middle of Willow Ridge territory.

Shade was patrolling the borders as he did at noon, midnight and at 3 and 6 and 9 PM. The borders were frequently marked by him. It was one of his duties to make sure they were. It was particularly foggy which would have dulled a wolf's senses. But he was raised in Death Pine Forest. Named that because the pine trees were deadly in the constant fog. One wolf was even impaled by a pine tree branch. He was use to g=fog, which came in handy.

An unfamiliar scent flooded his nose. His eyes almost went up in a blaze. "Who dares come and trespass on Willow Ridge Territory?" His voice boomed through the fog. He ran to the scent in the middle of the territory. A snarl of defense, his tail raised high in dominance. He didn't care who this wolf was, but they needed to leave immediately.

(Meh, short, sorry)

Narimé Lagina

Narimé had just finished a few of her rabbits that she had brought back and was cleaning her face when the scent of wolf came to her nose. The female smell was unfamiliar, but what caught her offguard was the fact that it held no pack scent. A nervous feeling gripped Nari's heart as she systematically stood up and started running towards the source of the scent.

Taking a well known path around the wolf Nari positioned herself in a spot where the strange female would not scent her then began silently and slowly creeping closer. About fifteen minutes later the silver yearling caught sight of her prey and analized it.

The wolf that had appearantly wandered in was very young. She looked to be around Nari's age at the cusp of adulthood. Not only that, but as the rusty female trotted around looking every which way Narimé guessed that she was very lost and scared. It was almost like she knew she wasn't supposed to be in their territory and was trying to find her way out.

Feeling less in danger from the intruder Narimé picked her head up wondering what the wolf would do if she tried to run at her. Releasing a warning howl for any of the guardians to hear Narimé lifted her head and lept forward releasing a snarl towards the young stranger. Her dark and light gray fur bristled and her tail whipped side to side in a clear warning. Nari hoped she would get the point to run away before the guardians got there. If she was caught by them she would not get a snarl as a warning. The young wolf would get a beating.

However Nari was a bit too late with her howl as Shade's voice boomed from her left. He was coming from the border appearantly scenting the very same intruder. As his darker frame came forward through the mists of the fog Narimé felt a little safer knowing that she wasn't the only one confronting the stranger.

Terra Anne
OH MAW GAWD TEH HORROR!!

Anne couldn't see or hear anything that wasn't ten feet around her. Her tired hurting paws tripped multiple times on the damn roots of the trees as she padded around frantically trying to get out of this scary place. With a small whine Terra teisted her head trying to look up through the tree tops at the sky. No moon shown. The fog made her feel claustrophobic as it closed in around her.

All of the sudden a sharp snarl from behind her made the young wolf jump and once more trip on the thick roots of the willows. Turning around she gazed terrified at the sight of a ghost appearing out of the mist. Its tail flashed up and around in anger, the silver pale fur drifting in and out of sight through the fog, and a snarl lit the specters face. Rooted to the ground in shock unable to flee Anne's brown eyes settled upon the ghostly pale blue ones of her attacker.

Just then another unmistakablely male voice echoed out through the fog to the girls right. The young wolf shook in terror, turned, and ran. She tripped and slid along the moist ground fleeing from the ghosts. Another moment later and she spotted a dark mass in the mist hurtling towards her. Slipping to a stop she watched as the large black wolf snarled tipping his head and tail up just as the ghost had. Leaving his question unanswered Terra Anne darted to the left trying to escape the wolves. She unknowingly was heading further into the territory afraid of being killed by the savage creatures growling hungrily in the mist.

He had been taking a well deserved break for once, and watched through his good eye as the mist rolled in. It would make the bunkered down wolf difficult to spot, but who would be foolish enough to go charging through the fog anyway?

There were more than enough wolves amongst the Willows to keep an almost consistent patrol of the borders, and he knew that now, more than likely, Shade was out there walking the very same paths he had walked not an hour before.

The fog dampened the sounds, but he brushed it aside as some form of prey, which he was in no state to be chasing down. With the weather getting colder by the day, his foreleg had begun to ache, and his limp was slowly coming back. He allowed his warm tongue a few passes at the aching bone before settling his head on his paws.

Just as he allowed his tired eyes to drift closed, the crashing noise came closer. Coupled with the laboured breathing and the scent of fear stinking up the damp air, he opened his good eye and lifted his head in question, just in time to be trampled by his large sisters doppelganger. Shade was close on her tail, as was Narime. The tattered golden male didn’t even have a chance to get his feet beneath him and he growled in frustration, nipping at the clearly younger wolf to get off him, and allow them a chance to sort this out, so he could go back to his nap.

Terra Anne

Anne cried. Tears fell from her face as she blindly fled from her persuers. With a sudden jerk her front legs caught on something soft and warm. As her body flipped over and onto the cushy thing she let out a cry seeing eyes to her left staring at her coldly.

Pushing herself away from the creature on the ground Terra twisted sideways glancing in every which direction. The three wolves had her trapped. She couldn't escape. A whine released from her maw and instinctively she flipped onto her back exposing her belly. Her fluffy tail wrenched between her legs Anne hoped to god these wolves fiished her off quickly. She hated to feel pain.

"Please.. please don't eat me.." Was all that she could utter in her high pitched horrified voice. Anne had just seen the creature on the ground. The battle scars on his frame made her shiver.

Twsiting her head around Anne glanced at each wolf in turn. The gray ghost had followed her though the specters snarl had vanished, and the shadowy male was still standing stiffly fangs exposed.

"I don't wanna die yet!!" She cried more tears blinding her vision as she layed helplessly on her back waiting for the savage beasts to tear into her stomach spilling the ground with her warm moist entrails.

(271 WORDS)

Shade ran after the frightened girl. Sure she was frightened and weak. But with Kano there, he had to prove he was a strong third of the pack. His tail raised high and his chest puffed out. "If you remain in our packs territory any longer you'll be attacked. Leave... Now." He commanded. He didn't care about the pity in his soul right now, he was letting other emotions take over for him. Rage maybe? Or even maybe hate. He didn't hate the female, but he sometimes hated himself. He put those emotions up in first line and showed pity and caring down in the dumps.

He saw Anne collapse in tears, he looked at Kano with a warning not to attack yet. This was a guardians job to avoid these kinds of things on the territory. She had taken no prey so she was not as big as a threat. "Listen here. Your on Willow Ridge territory, we will not kill you or attack you if you leave. Other then trespassing we have no strife with you. You have not taken any of our prey. So we are giving you exactly one chance to leave." He said diplomatically. It was his job, caring was not an option. This was his job. His voice was stone cold and defended.

If this had been Shadow, what would he have done? I mean, she was his sister, but she was Grizzly Hollow. The two packs had much strife and tension. It was like a poison. What would he have done? Anything he would have wanted to do would be a greater poison to them.

Narimé Lagina

Glad that Shade wasn't being too scary Narimé paused next to Kanosak watching the little lady tremble on her back. The mist swirled around everyone enveloping the four wolves and blurring the landscape to an inky dark black all around them. Unless you knew the territory well and were looking at your feet the whole time Nari guessed that no one would be able to find their way out of the territory.

"I can help lead you out if you don't know the way.." She pitched in waiting for the young wolf to answer. She looked scared to death and the gray she wolf hoped that she would stay that submissive the whole time. If the rogue even once tried to snap at someone even in self defence Nari was sure Shade and Kano would leave a number of scars in the rusty girls fur.

"If it's okay with you I could show her the way out.. She doesn't seem to be too dangerous. Besides she's smaller than me. If anything goes wrong I'll sit on her until she cries uncle..." Narimé wiggled her hips pretending to have a large rear end but with her lanky grace she would have to lay on the girl if things got rough.

OOC: Tiny post sorry. Gonna wait to post Anne so Kano can get a post in.

As harmless as the hapless intruder may have seemed, the grizzled male wasn’t about to go letting a yearling escort her out unaccompanied. Finally able to get his feet beneath him as she rolled to expose her most delicate parts, he dragged himself upwards, only the slightest pang of pain shooting through his formerly fractured leg. As usual, Shade had far too many words to offer the panicked youth who he had no doubt would struggle to comprehend the meaning of. He had seen this before. She was a foreigner. She would not know their ways. At least she didn’t reek of dog parentage like the scum that had seduced his aunt and led her to her untimely demise.

“Calm Shade, I’ve got no patience for a pissing contest right now.” he grumbled to the other male drawing in a calming breath to make sure his posture matched his words, his tail hung limp between his legs, his hard glare fixed only on the girl on the ground. “Clearly Narime, she is lost...” his response to the younger wolf less gruff than his previous comment to the bipolar idiot who outranked him, “but I won’t have you escorting her out alone. I will come too. It’s Shade’s watch.” and as well as he had done to chase the poor girl straight over the top of a more experienced wolf when it came to this thing, with this fog, anyone or anything could be sneaking it’s way into the heart of their territory.

It was with an exhausted sigh that he laid his ears back to nudge at the girls shoulder with his blunt nose. “Get up.” he told the frightened creature gruffly. “You look like you’d taste terrible anyway... Like human food.” his muzzle wrinkled in distaste as he backed off to give her some space. The sooner this was dealt with, the sooner he could get back to his break.

Terra Anne

They haven't eaten me yet..

That was all that was running through her mind. As the young wolf gazed up cautiously at the ghost, to the scarred monster, and back to the dark shadow wolf again. They were talking about what to do with her...

"I...I promise I'll leave if you let me. I..will never come back..I..I won..won't ever bother you while I live again..Please.. " She listened as the others continued to speak. The gray ghost female spoke up about leading Anne out. Nodding her head as she spoke Anne agreed with the other girls idea. She didn't know how to get out of here. Nor did Anne know where the exit direction was. The young woman didn't speak her concerns too afraid to talk as the scared monster spoke.

HE'S going to come too? No no no no no no...I don't want the monster coming... She paused her thoughts as a single word caught her attention. Humans.

"W..wait.. You know humans? Do you know where they live? Can you take me there?.. " Anne spoke stretching out her head and neck towards the scarred male with a hopeful expression on her frightened face. It was the first time since coming to Lore that Anne actually wanted to follow a wolf around as long as they knew where the humans were anyway..
