Weldering Darksidy
Meeting Murder the previous day was odd. it was the first time he had really gotten to grips with the new pack scent that loomed the Mountain now specifically the Plateau. Weldering still had not plucked up the courage or effort to go visit the Alpha himself though he was in no rush. As he had said to many others he had met he had no real interest in joining a pack on the mountain and would rather wait for a woodland based group to emerge or something else in these lower lands. But even then packs made him feel awkward considering the nature of how he actually lost the position of Beta Male and lead Warrior in his last home. Yes what happened might have saved his life by forcing him to leave the danger zone before it happened but he was still a wolf of shame. A large loss of dignity would always befall a wolf that was actually banished from his home and family.

Family was not much for Weldering but it meant a lot. It was not like Indru and the other Tainns that were joined by blood instead it was through an adopted daughter and close friends. He'd never known was true kin was really like but he could not imagine it being much different to how he felt about those that were close to him. After all that had happened he was a lone again but perhaps that was for the best, if any of his family and friends were alive and in Relic Lore he doubted they would want to be anywhere near an exile.

With a heavy sigh he crawled onto a nearby boulder, the smooth flat surface was large enough to stretch out upon as he rested for a while. In his blackened muzzle the brute clutched tightly his last reminder of home, a small baby snow leopard pelt. When he had met Murder the other day she had been oddly curious about his token that he carried more then about him.

Her paws carried her quietly through the forest – a stride that exuberated confidence and grace, yet at the same time her fiery eyes were much more keen on taking in the scenery around her. Both silver-tipped ears were perked forward, flickering every so often to the gentle twitter of a bird as it hopped along the extended tree branches. It seemed carefree – something she could associate with, as she answered to no one but herself. Despite such freedom, that meant little in the world of survival. Winter would soon be upon them, and the ivory dove would need to find a place of residence if she wanted to maintain her health. Despite living on a dangerous mountain for most of her life, that did not mean winter was simply a few months of cold weather. It was bitter, with little prey, and harsh conditions.

But that did not apply to today. Instead, her little stroll through the forest had lead her to a small clearing. What appeared to be secluded was not, and the girl cast a curious gaze to the silver and black male that now rested upon a large, jutting boulder. If his markings were not strange to the she-wolf, the pelt of an animal clutched in his jaws were. With a gentle ‘woof’ to announce her presence, the arctic took a hesitant step forward, curious if her presence was even desired.

The young vagrant was not entirely sure himself whether or not he wanted any company, he was in a strange and pitiful mood almost but not quite as bad as the bad he was arguing with Indru on the blackberry fields. Though after a small hesitation in response to her inquisitive call he chuffed back forcing a soft smile over his muzzle. He knew a little chat with another lone wolf was bound to cheer him up and he really was never the type to pass up company in the past taking up every opportunity he could.

<b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Hey." He greeted with a soft though once again hesitant edge to his voice, feeling a little insecure as he leaned forwards placing his chest over the top of his leopard pelt to almost hide it under his thick silver and black pelt. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"I haven't seen you before." He begun trying to start a conversation to take his mind off his problems. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Are you new to Relic Lore?"

His smile seemed almost reluctant to the she-wolf, and while his gentle greeting was something that could be seen as a welcoming conversation, the male shifted himself further over the pelt he had been holding only seconds before; another hint to her that she had caught him at an awkward time. Pretending not to notice what he was now hiding, the rogue bowed her muzzle gracefully, a small smile finding its way to her lips. “Heillaóskir,” she greeted gently in her native tongue as her paws carried her a respectful distance up to the silver male.

Canting her muzzle slightly to one side at his question, Lífdís settled herself to her haunches in one sweep, her ivory tail peppered with silver soon curling against her. “Relatively new,” she confirmed with a small nod. “I tend to keep to myself. I’m Lífdís.” There was a small pause, and she peered at him more curiously with cinnamon eyes. “Have you been here long?” There were only small pauses between the conversation that continued to flow between the two, and while she enjoyed the company she had gained, minutes turned to an hour, and with a light smile and a dip of her muzzle, the vagabond was once more on her way to explore another area of interest.
