He thought a bit back to what Elettra would say. Tempest seemed like the talker, the instigator of the group. Guiness the guardian. the one who protected. He could see them as an amazing pair for Willow ridge and he'd do everything in his power to get them in if they wanted it. He looked at them with kid eyes wondering if there was any more info they needed.
No words were said by him as his sister and Shade conversed. He wasn’t exactly comfortable around the other male…but all in due time, right? His sister’s words satisfied him none the less, and he merrily sat there, his golden amber eyes burning into the Willow Ridge male. It could have looked as if he was giving a death stare to Shade, as if promising that he would be the male’s death wish. He sure had plenty to say…just like his sister. He approved of himself not talking, it gave others all the reason not to speak to him…the only wolf that seemed to not work with would have been Narime‘, always having something to say to him, no matter what it was. It almost bothered him, but he knew he could handle the younger girl.
With the other male’s response, Guiness gently touched his sister on the shoulder before turning towards the direction Shade had mentioned them in. She was the talked and he was the quiet one…who always seemed to be keeping track of the time they had, as well. It was now time for them to take their leave. His large red frame was standing tall once again…they had gotten their rest once again, and now it was time for them to continue on. The Thorben knew that if he couldn’t stay rooted in one place, insanity would slowly start making its way into his mind. The sooner they found Sloane, the better.
When Guiness gently touched her shoulder and looked northward, she knew his desires despite his lack of words. He was anxious to be on the move. Not because he wanted to go, but because he wanted so badly to stop. He'd never been meant to be a rogue any more than she had. He was not as social as she, but he was a sentinel and a warrior and he longed to put down roots. He had put aside his own desires for so long because of her. He wanted to find Sloane, but he could easily have just let it be and settled somewhere. It was her drive that pushed them so hard for so long and his drive to protect her.
She nodded in understanding at her Rock, before turning back to Shade. "Again, thank you. It's time for us to be on our way again. The sooner that we find Sloane, the sooner that we might see one another again... perhaps at your borders!" With that she tipped her head graciously at the dark wolf and turned northward, knowing that Guiness would be close behind, following where she led...
(Tempest out... )
His thoughts on the Willows and how he could serve the pack to a higher potential. His eyes glittered in excitement, but yet pang and remorse too. He couldn't get a few things off his mind. It was approaching winter and he knew with a large member base and a knack for guardians, food would be scared. He wanted to help more then marking the borders four times a day. His eyes narrowed as he thought deeply. Walking still, always walking. Perhaps he could hunt before, during and after he marked the borders too. Willow Ridge needed the prey that was for sure.
Maybe he could go and get some sort of pack hunt together? He knew the odds were unlikely and that the winter would be harsh. But he would be ready. It was the final countdown.
