Jessie Tainn
OOC: Mmhm...that is what you get Jessie.

It was not long before even her own heart was pounding in her head. The loner in front of the two Swift wolves was a danger, someone who had to die. His fangs were exposed, yet they were not used, as yet again, the loner’s canine’s brushed against her shoulder, pricking her skin slightly. He was running off, with a slight limp that she had pride in giving him. She would not let him get away though, and it would seem that Ice wouldn’t be taking it either. With a sharp growl she burst forward, a painful, yet small ache bothering her, in her chest area, where she had been hit. She didn’t take much thought to it as she burst into full speed, her heart pounding faster than it had during any hunt she had ever been on. Her thin body weaved through the trees as if she were a snake, withering through all of the surrounding branches. She was by him now, snapping at his side repeatedly as if she were hunting a deer.

Her jaws now powerfully nipped, hoping that she was succeeding in making small marks in his fur to remember her by. The aching in her chest turned into a frequent pain…and perhaps if she would have kept up with her weight, it would not have been dragging her down. Her breath was now coming in continuous gasps, her legs and heart still pushing her to do her hardest. When hope seemed at its highest, everything fell though, her vision started to blur, everything becoming white and puffy. She staggered, still slightly running, but she was now falling, her head thumping against the snow covered ground. A small amount of red was here and there in the snow, nothing major…but the problem was the gray female couldn’t make anything out clearly, a wrenching cough being squeezed out of her, her breathing slightly stabling out, but otherwise it was coming in huffs and puffs. She wanted to stand, but she just simply couldn’t. As much as she willed her brain to push her up her own mistakes of not taking care of her body were taking its toll.

She did nothing, no sound coming out of her mouth, all she could do was hope that Ice had given the bastard a hard knocking. Another pack mate would surely smell the blood soon and help her up, or Ice would return. Her sides heaved her head barely moving as she tried to pick it up, to get a sense of where she was. She would be nothing to the pack right now and she could easily lose anything. She was defenseless, everything that appeared before her was white, nothing other than that, except from maybe a few moving browns here and there. Who would have ever thought of trees moving? Her heart leapt…was she all alone or was that horrid loner hovering over her watching her lay there in pain and waiting to take her death any moment.? Ice wouldn’t let him do that though…he was the pack’s guardian. Fear was dominantly taking its hold over her, and she lay there, incapable of much movement, if any, and silently waited for another to come and help her up.

(Hopefully he can get far enough ahead to escape.... Hope this is better then my last hideous post
EDIT: I really do have a problem with fight threads, not sure why. I added in a reaction to Ice's bite)

”Walking through hell with a smile....”

Blaze's eyes were narrow as he tried to limp away from the fight gone wrong. He could handle one on one. But two on one? that was not an honorable fight. He had no respect for packs due to what had ensued with his birth pack. He hadn't been in a pack sense and he hadn't planned to be in one again. He was a fighter, one who faced the world with fang and claw, not one to bow in submission to others who did not deserve it. Scum like the two wolves he had just fought thought power was in numbers, when it was truly in power. They were fools and he would get them.

"Fighting is not an art... it's a way of life for some...”

Jessie was snapping at his sides, but weakness overtook her and she fell. He took this opportunity to limp away and avoid death. Anger was a short madness, but he wasn't angry, he was insane. Insanity is a long madness and he liked it that way. Madness kept him alive, kept him thinking strait and it allowed him to walk through hell with a smile. His eyes, red and blue respectively, full of anger and rage. He was kidding himself. He was angry and insane, making his madness even more precedent. He hoped Jessie would stay down, or if she didn't, then turn back. He hoped the large wolf, Ice, wouldn't catch up to him.

”Fools trust pride, the wise spend they're times with the important things in life...”

If they caught up with him in his current condition, he would die for sure. His eyes had angry, narrowed looks to them. He glanced back and looked. So far so good. But in the inevitable could happen. All he could do was cling to hope and stick to it. He created the sound of madness. He felt sharp teeth bite into his leg and a searing pain coursed though him. "Let. Me. Go." He screeched trying to unhinge his jaw or something to make sure that Ice was not longer near him. He tried using one of his good legs to kick Ice in the face. A good face kicking never hurt anyone.

Blaze won't be killed but with a limp, other wounds he can't just walk away. He's the slower wolf now. Triell plans to leave a mark on him, (Ice may wish to leave another) and then he can take his leave.(hopefully learning not to trespass on anyone's lands) Take into account he can try to dodge things, but he does need to react to another's action some way. I believe Ice bit him, and you had yet to count that in Blaze's post.

Blaze should have factored someone else into his poor math. A pack was made out of more than two wolves, and he was stupid to think he wouldn't sound an alarm for more. Why was it always Swift River the idiots had to provoke? If the other packs had this much trouble surely loners would be dead, and the live ones more cautious.

Triell outside of Swift River, returning home could not miss the growls of his pack mates, nor the scent of the trespasser. The girls were at the front of his mind, and he would spring into action. Loping through the white snow, zoning in on the group he saw the unknown, limping away. Ice looked close to gaining ground, while Jessie had fallen. Ears swiveled back, disappearing into the thick of his fur, his hackles raised from skull to tail making him look twice his size. White teeth snapping, a snarl split from his raised lips, and he charged toward upon the wounded wolf.

There were no words, but raw intent to make him hurt, make him spread the word you cross on Swift River you can expect pain, you could expect your ass handed to you, and hope you don't die by your disgrace. A single bark to grab the fool's attention, Triell swiftly launched his attack, going straight for the bastard's head, with wide open mouth, his weight being thrown into the hit.

Sorry for the slow reply guys. :/
Also, Namara, a general tips when fighting is to always acknowledge your opponent's attacks. You don't have to take them, but mention them, somewhat like I did with Ice when Blaze tried to claw his belly. I sidestepped, but I acknowledged the fact that Blaze did attack. :)

you do not know who is your friend
or who is your enemy
until the   ICE breaks.
Somehow, a chase was on: blood pumped hotly through his veins, scalding and searing his flesh as it swept adrenaline through him like a spring flood. How was it, that anger always was what undid him? In the time when his mind had been clouded by what he'd done - clouded by his torn loyalties, to love Marsh and to guard his friend - it was anger that had burned within him, overcome him, erased him. Not the sorrow, the grief, the guilt - that had only served to confuse, to stave off the deeper thoughts, stranding him in a world of shallowness and a state like amnesia. But when Mist and Kegan had crossed the Swift River border... It wasn't something that had burned the fog away; the fog had turned to flames instead, black acrid smoke in his mind, obliterating sense. All he had known was the desire to kill.

When Indru had left, the same emotions had seared his soul for an instant, the desire to punish the culprit, the cause of these aches. But Indru was a ghost in the world now, nothing he could reach - touch - destroy. The wolf he was chasing now, was tangible, something he could sink his teeth in. And somehow, the chase was on: Blaze fleeing in a burst of speed but ultimately crippled by his limp, Jessie racing like a shadow by his side until her steps faltered and she disappeared, washed away by the world, falling somewhere, unknown, unseen. All he knew was how the blood in his veins burned, how his teeth craved demolition, and how each breath seared his lungs with its intensity, its smell.

As another shadow loomed in their path, Ice snapped towards his quarry, locking his jaws around Blaze's left hock. The command fell on deaf, merciless ears, for he would not let go. He would not let this son of a bitch with a foul mouth and a complete lack of respect waltz away with his crimes, with the threat he posed to Swift River's future. Growls rumbled in his chest, his fur on end, lips peeled back as his powerful jaws locked, despite Blaze's thrashing and kicking. As Triell came charging in, snapping for Blaze's face, the blunt claws on Blaze's paw snagged the thin skin just beneath Ice's pale right eye. A thin, scraggly line of dark red showed in its wake, a pinprick of pain like a needle in the haze of his mind. It was nothing. It was minor. With his tail stiff and high Ice braced and tugged on Blaze's leg, trying to pull him down on his back.

He would not be allowed to leave, without learning the lesson.
And if he refused to learn, he would not leave at all.

(Switch and Ice said it's fine to PP him getting out of the grip and getting away so they can tag along to the Naira thread and rip his throat out :D)

Blaze growled as they both latched on, he struggled and struggled to get away. Attempting to kick them anywhere they could be kicked. He hit them with his back legs and squirmed free. He ran, his limp slowing him down more and more by the second. He wasn't ready to die yet. He had, hopefully, many more winters ahead of him. He growled, "I'll be back." As he ran off towards the nearest lake or lagoon. Hopefully he could fully recover by himself. Though he doubted it, he'd need to find some sort of healer. It sucked to rely on others, that was his matter of opinion. He growled at the thought of those scumbags trying to kill him. He was an honest fighter, even despite his short temper it was his belief that he was an honest fighter.

Blaze snarled at himself. He was such and dumb ass of an idiot for believing that he'd get away with hunting on pack lands. He passed the scent markers of Swift River lands and made himself run faster then he could. He was determined to be alive after this, that damn other wolf Triell had jumped into the fight as well. He'd fought off half a pack practically. What was so honest about Blaze vs. All? There was nothing that Blaze could comprehend. He was going to get them back, he'd pick them off one at a time, one by one by one. It was his time to shine. It was time to live his life.

Triell fiercely bit down, letting his teeth grind and dig. There were few occasions he got to, and this wolf deserved no less. The wolf began struggling, and Triell did not see Jessie rise he released the criminal, and ran past Ice to check on his fallen pack mate. If she didn't stand, if she didn't live Blaze would not have to return. He would be found. A snap of his head, his breath thundering in his chest, and passing from his mouth his bright eyes fell upon Ice. "Go! Follow him, I'll catch up when I know she's fine," he called, knowing they shouldn't let the bastard get away...not like this. The River wolves would be out for lots of blood today.

Trying to catch his breath, protectively he stood over the silver wolfess, and dropped his nape, licking at her face to revive her. "Jessie?" He would ask, hoping to see her green eyes meet his. "Jessie," he tried again more loudly thinking she might be seeing something, but hating the blank look she had. Trying to nudge her up, as he was unharmed he made sure to help her to a stand, making sure she would not falter. "We are going to get him, if you need help howl. If no one else comes howl again and I'll return." He gave a final lick to her nose, and than tore off after the silver wolf, and the dead man walking.
