Sagacity
"Hah!" Came Sagacity's reaction when Enoki supplied a wry name for the forest they were in: Hell. She nodded, grinning. "And certainly 'Hell' for foxes if we keep around." She added. Not that she really intended to go on telling any others that she met that the forest was named Hell, but it was something she'd keep in mind, a private joke between the two of them or even just for Sagacity to enjoy on her own if she ever revisited the area. She liked the sarcasm that Enoki boasted and shared freely, even though she wasn't one who usually took to jokes. But there was something about this dark horse that was alluring and made her accept the quip light-heartedly.

Casually, though, the subject was flipped back to Sagacity's pack, and Enoki made it fairly clear that she wanted a relatively detailed description by settling down and beginning to de-fluff the vixen she'd caught. Sagacity settled down onto the ground as well, the fox kit lying between her outstretched forelegs though she left it, choosing to speak rather than to be rude and munch at the same time as she spoke of her pack. It would've been a dishonorable way to speak about Nomad's Pass, anyhow.

"Nomad's Pass," She said, re-stating the name fully intending for it to stick in Enoki's mind. "We live on the Mountain of Dire, protected from nosy neighbors time simply because of the climb and because we tend to tick to ourselves." She said. "We're a small group but we're strong; we've no need for stragglers or weaklings." She said with a nod- it was true. Any who fell short of the standards were cast out or left on their own, or they weren't allowed to join to begin with. "Or fraternizing with other packs. We stand on our own under the lead of Naira and Rhysis Aquila." She said, feeling fairly proud that they didn't need to depend on truces with other packs in order to live the life they wanted. There were few laws that way- no reason for them to comply to the rules of other packs, as they lived a fairly lawless life on their own, so long as they adhered to the law of their own pack, set by the ruling couple. "Have you heard of it? Or other packs in the area?" She asked, curious to see what Enoki knew of them or other packs in Relic Lore.

Sorry for the late reply!! (:

A small snicker couldn't help but slide past Enoki's mouth full of fur at Sage's comment about it being hell for foxes if they kept hanging around the place. The magpie-colored wolf had no objections to going on a hunting spree of foxes and having a good fill of the little varmints. Her stomach wouldn't mind the food either, stringy or not, it was still a source of food that kept her alive to see another day. This silver wolf was definitely starting to grow on her and could quite possibly become the first friendship made within Relic Lore. Continuing to de-fluff the vixen between her paws, she gave the female her full attention between tugs of the annoying fur. God how she hated removing the fur off of these bastards. It almost wasn't worth eating after the work that went into removing the coat so one could reach the tender flesh beneath.

With a small nod, she continued on listening to Sage explain the details of Nomad's Pass. As she spoke about the Mountain of Dire, a small turn of her head followed to take a quick glance to where the said mountain lay in the distance. After taking in the view for a short moment, Enoki returned her attention to the female as she continued to explain further about the pack, giving her time to take a small bite of flesh she finally managed to expose. From what she was hearing, this pack was no joke. They wanted nothing but the best and made sure that their ranks consisted of just that. No stragglers, no weaklings. she repeated in her mind. Unlike Elettra's pack, Willow Ridge, they were strong and didn't need to recruit as vigorously as others. The Ridge pack, though by no means seeming weak, wasn't as well off.

These small bits of information floated within her thoughts as she kept them safe for later when she came closer to making a decision on which pack was right for her to join. Giving a small shake of her head at Sage's question, she swallowed the small bit of meat that lay on her tongue before answering her question. "I haven’t heard of Nomad's Pass, no. The only pack I've come into contact with was the matriarch of Willow Ridge, Elettra. " It was true. Though she had been here for some time now, the pack encounter rate was on a low scale.

SAGACITY
Willow Ridge- she didn't know that one. Or the name Elettra. In response she nodded deftly, pursed her lips, and then shrugged slightly. "Never heard of them." She admitted. It would be something to remember, though, a pack named Willow Ridge. led by a female named Elettra- no doubt information that Rhysis and Naira would want to know, if they didn't know about them already. She suspected there were a number of packs there she hadn't heard about, out in the wilderness. She tended to steer clear from their borders, however, not wanting to be mistaken as a lone wolf traipsing too near without any true purpose. A visit from a pack wolf was one thing, but lone wolves were generally not trusted.

"What was she like?" Sage asked, curious to know whatever she could about Willow Ridge; mainly for her own gain, as getting this information would likely make her more admirable as a Scout. Even if she hadn't met Elettra herself, she at least knew someone who'd met her, and albeit secondhand, she'd take whatever information she could get. It was quite a nice meeting, with Enoki- even if it hadn't been an encounter with someone she could learn from, she'd still found a kindred spirit in the striking female. She left with the lingering feeling that she would see Enoki again- or that she would in the very least, seek her out. Either way, whenever she saw a magpie, she would be reminded of her new friend, and their pleasant chat.
