Nina Hervok

The woman honestly did not want to see the look of anger or sadness cross upon the pup’s face and that was why she turned away and continued on with business, but when she finished and she heard Hollow’s words of apology an unknown flash of anger overcame her body, her and single-eyed gaze snapped towards him, her gaze emotionless. Sadness poured through her when she saw Bane take off into the woods and feeling it her place to confront him and calm things down, she muttered a soft words to her mate, "Dismiss them, my love, but make sure no one goes after him." She then sprung down from her throne, biting back the short spout of pain that rushed through her when she landed. Giving a fleeting glance to Ashanti and Hollow in commanding them to stay where they were Nina shot off in the direction that the dark boy had gone, easily following the trail that he was leaving behind him.

It was quick that she caught up with the boy and with soothing words she got him to slow down to a stop. With this large reveal she felt it was of his best interest that she be there for him. Nina was not one that liked seeing her family members in pain. She would stay with him and talk and hopefully he would be able to forgive. He was so young and to have learned of such a tragic fate of his own father must have been terrible, no matter how horrible the rapist had been, the boy was still innocent…or at least he was suppose to be innocent. Looking down upon the dark ball of fur now, Nina wanted to make sure to do anything in her power to make the young boy feel loved and in control of his life. She did not wish to make him feel lost and she would do whatever it took to do so.

Hollow Nite
The rest of the meeting ended in a flash, Bane dismissed himself with a tiny snarl and a scuffling of his paws. Hollow's head dropped and Nina raced after the pup. It seemed as though the pack were in shock, no one else spoke. The wonderful titles Nina had awarded them were shadowed now by the terrible feelings that were coursing through everyone. Hollow knew deep down that no one would be okay with what had just happened even if they pretended everything was fine. It was a tragedy that the poor boy had to find out this way. The young guardian wished for nothing more than happiness for Bane, but it would seem that nothing of the sort would happen for him. The road would be rough, and maybe even painful for the child.

Hollow turned back toward Koda in time to see him Howl the meeting to a close, with that the leader faded into the shadows. Then Hollow himself made his way through the wolves. Head down, eyes dull and back towards his border. The newly named guardian was distraught, not only had he failed the young Bane, he had failed Ashanti as well. Now the pup was hurting and Hollow was a liar, two things he had hoped never to see. So with a tiny smile at his accomplishment, Hollow moved away from the rest of the pack. Even as happy as he was to be named guardian, it was tempered by Bane's hurt, and Hollow felt it deeply.
