Senka Flint
(OOC: This is to kickstart a hunt for the Willow Ridge pack.)

Senka Flint
allow me this moment of bliss so I may begin to miss the torment
When the idea first came to mind, nervousness overtook Senka, though she had no idea why. Pack hunts weren't an unfamiliar concept to her at all. So what made this one so different? Was it because she was in a completely different pack and didn't wish to fail in front of her new leader and pack mates? But it needed to be done, so she could show what she could do and prove her worthiness.

With her mind made up, Senka lifted her head to let the call go out to any and all Willow Ridge pack members know that there was a pack hunt about to begin and whoever wished to join in, to come to where she was. Though still not knowing everyone within the pack, Senka believed it was time for a hunt to occur as no pack hunts had been called for since her joining of the pack. Of course, one could have been held before and she wouldn't know about it. It had been roughly a month though since then and it seemed wise to do it. Like herself, the others must have been relying on themselves to hunt small mice and other creatures. She already knew where the hunt would be taking place. There was a deer herd moving through the north of the territory and Senka knew they had found a suitable gazing area because they had been there since this morning. They would more then likely be there for the next day or so.

Lowering her head after the last note, Senka wondered who would arrive and when. Her voice would be new to the pack but not only would it hold the truth that she was indeed part of their pack, @Elettra would recognize it and hopefully be the first to arrive. The others, save for one, she didn't know yet and thus had no idea if or when they would arrive. She didn't even really know the size of the pack but knew it must be big enough to support the pups she had heard of. They must be old enough to be learning to how hunt now. Shaking her head free of thought, she waited patiently for the first arrivals of the pack, sitting down with her tail curled around her paws. Her posture spoke that she was relaxed yet attentive, though she would show the correct posture when it was needed. She knew her place yet as this would be the first time in quite some time she had orchestrated a pack hunt, focus was key in order to accomplish what she set out to do and she hoped the others would understand. <b style="font-family:georgia; color:#fefefe;">

Elettra Archer
It was a perfect day for a hunt, with the sun high to heat the length of her dark backside, yet the chill of winter's breeze keeping her cool and bringing the scents of autumn into her still strong nose. The call brought promise from her training hunter and as she made her way, her voice sounded out in response that she was on her way, hopefully triggering the rest of her members to regroup within the same location should they need successful this way. Though the larger the group, the more likely there was to be error, the chance to obtain more then just a normal cache worth due to their numbers was well worth the risk. As she makes way throughout the land, she beckons her children, @Skoll, @Asriel, @Morganna, so that they may settle along the sidelines and watch the pack hunt take place. Though they have hunted before, working with yourself or with another wolf or two was far different then the chain of command and tactic needed in a full pack's hunt and the prey, too, was far different. Though members such as @Angier and @Narcissa were likely to show up their own, it was @Muerda and @Calla who she had hopes would also prove herself this day. Although Calla was still a yearling, she had mentioned hunting skills and healing, though was still in need of much practice. "Lead us into success today and you will be worthy of upholding the role of Hunter." The words are spoken to the woman as she makes her arrival. The limb she carries still stands and for this, knows that doing the hunting down and 'herding' portion of the hunt will not be possible for her this day. She was slower and, with a weak ankle, more likely to trip and fail in her attempt. Though she had just begun hunting smaller prey once more, she thought herself best in helping take down an already trapped individual. Knowing this, it made it obvious they needed others to join them.

Narcissa Thanos

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#D6C7B6;">
Although it had never bothered her, Narcissa had begun to wear herself thin on the timing of things. She had recently come back from the northeast to scout for territories, abundance in prey and potential members that could allow the Ridge to continue to strive. Not once having missed an opportunity to tell strangers interested in joining that should they be disloyal to the generosity of Elettra, they would certainly have hell to pay if not from the Queen herself but from her loyal subordinate. Cissa wasted no time in getting to the call of a pack mate, as that would only deter questions.
Arriving in what seemed to be decent time, she strolled to Elettra and rubbed her shoulder against the Queens before bravely licking her chin respectfully. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#D6C7B6;">“Afternoon ladies,” she purred as her stomach anticipated the hunt by growling in the process. The woman opposite of Elettra was unknown to her but that was not a problem, <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#D6C7B6;">“I’m Narcissa, pack Scout.” As if introducing herself this late in the game was no big deal and no problem at all. The scout only knew that she was the third subordinate, just under a loyal elder member, and that it was the place she would stay for quite some time unless she wished to prove herself further by challenging the woman.
The rank of the stranger was unknown but Elettra’s judgment was (so far) strong and without fault so Narcissa would agree upon the loyalty and luxury of giving this new woman the attention and respect she deserved. It took guts to put together a pack hunt when you were new.

Semananti
[Since Sema's join thread is dated 10-4-13 then she would be a member by now?]

In the spring, we made a boat
Semananti Whurshire
Out of feathers, out of bones

Semananti arrived after Narcissa and Elettra, they had all been called by a female she knew not the name of. Her eyes had a bit of a curiosity to them and she arrived, her tail tucking lower than the rest of the pack mates who had arrived... for now at least. She did intend on challenging her way through the ranks, but for now she had to focus on the hunt, which was obviously what they had been called for. She kept her mannerisms to herself, staying silent was her forte, and she had noticed that since she had come back, she had been so excited about being home that she neglected to keep her mouth shut when she had information that was sensitive or not important completely.

So many questions had flooded her head, but they were all answered, so the scarred woman could go back to her normal self. She could go back to the self that Elettra knew. "Lady Elettra, Narcissa, ma'am." She said four simple words that were her greeting to whom was there. She had not yet had the opportunity to visit Tempest in the infirmary, she intended to do that directly after the hunt. She hadn't participated in a Willow Ridge hunt before, it was not something that she specialized in and quite frankly, she felt as if she did a shitty job hunting. Perhaps, just perhaps, if the pups would be there, they were too young to hunt then she could stay with them to make sure that they stayed out of trouble.

allow me this moment of bliss so I may begin to miss the torment
Ears pricking at the sound of a responding howl from Elettra, telling the russet wolf she was on her way and hopefully would also call the rest of the pack, Senka knew that soon enough there would be others arriving to her position. And she wasn't disappointed. Elettra arrived first at the clearing and as a result, Senka showed her submission to the leader by crawling up to the leader and licking her chin before backing away. Though as she arrived, Senka noted the slight limp she held. Though she wouldn't refuse the help her leader offered, she would make sure that the others, when they arrived, knew it. She dared not risked the life of her leader in a hunt. A small shudder went through her as she remembered the death of her father. no. She needed a clear head, in order to do as Elettra told her and prove herself worthy of being called a true hunter of the pack.

"I shall not let you down Elettra," She promulgated, confidence filling her voice. As she finished speaking, another wolf, one she was unfamiliar with, strolled up to them and after paying her attention to Elettra, turned to Senka. She introduced herself as the pack scout, by the name Narcissa. Something told her Narcissa was slightly higher in rank to her, so Senka bowed her head to her, giving her name as well. "Senka and I hope to prove myself as the pack hunter." New she might be in the pack, how to organize a pack hunt wasn't something one quickly forgot. The russet wolf knew what was needed to be done and how to pull it off.

Another arrival caught Senka's attention, a small female who tucked her tail beneath her as she greeted the other three wolves. So, this one knew her place was beneath the others and that gave Senka an indication she wasn't at the bottom as she originally thought. It was somewhat a silly thought, now it was given thought. Maybe, when she first joined the pack, she was but in the short time she had been here, it wasn't unlikely others had found a spot in the pack. "Good afternoon...?" Trailing away so the new arrival could provide her name, a thought came to her.

Turning back to Elettra, Senka voiced the thought. "As much as I would like to begin the hunt now, are there any others we should wait for?" Four wolves, three if one counted Elettra's limp as she would only able to help take down a already trapped prey (Though she wouldn't dare speak it.) was a little too small for a pack hunt for her liking. "There are mule deers not far from here, a little farther north and though I do want a successful hunt, I would like to try and get one large enough to fill our bellies and still have some to take back to the cache." Though it was known that it took only three wolves to bring down a deer, Senka didn't wish to fail and disappoint Elettra. The more wolves there were, the better chance of getting a good hunt in. Even if it were the added bonus of one or two more wolves.<b style="font-family:georgia; color:#fefefe;">

Elettra Archer
The first to arrival, other then herself, was Narcissa. It was not at all a shocker to Elettra, who saw the woman more and more as time passed with her joining the ranks, despite the fact that she was a Scout within the lands, free to roam as she did so pleased, so long as Narcissa would call this home - so long as Narcissa was hers. The touch did not follow with tension in Elettra as in did with many. No, she trusted this woman, liked this woman in manners perhaps further then one should and so she welcomed the touch, a playful growl extending from the depths of her throat to the woman's further greeting in a lick.
A slight wave of her tail was offered as Senka and Narcissa shared words, her grey gaze shifting only when Semananti arrived. Certainly she did not expect the woman who had mentioned hunting as one of her worst downfalls, though perhaps she had meant only to watch, be a back-up should things go haywire or even make sure the pups, should they arrive, did not get in the way? Should no more show, the group that was here would only cause Senka further testing of her skill in leading them correctly in this hunt. After all, Sema was a poor hunter and Elettra's limb was still far from fully mended.
"Semananti." The greeting of the woman's name graced the Leader's lips, taking note of her obvious submissive display before herself, the third and fourth within the pack. Although Senka had been here longer, it had not been by much and not by much Narcissa before that. Still, the hierarchy for the time being was dully noted although it was odd seeing the scarred woman in such a manner before more then just Tempest, Skana, and herself. "If you'd like, we could wait a few more moments or take an easy stroll for others to catch up?" Elettra Archer answered the woman's question with a question of her own, allowing the woman who willed to be a Hunter of these lands to fully take charge. Although Elettra did not expect @Guiness to show up due to the fact that he was caring for @Tempest who was in dire condition and of course, @Skana who had limited walking ability, there was still others who could yet arrive if they willed themselves here.

Narcissa Thanos

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#6B3815;">
It would seem that as soon as she got there no one else had decided to come aside from Semananti. Narcissa had nothing personal against the woman but she knew that there would be competition from the very second she had mentioned that she, too, had been a scout for Elettra. However in this moment it was the last thing on her mind. For now, she simply wished to do what it was she had come here to do—to hunt. To begin the one thing that she had first started out doing as a child; she had once followed in her father’s footsteps as a hunter apprentice and then a huntress herself. As time went on she eventually lost it due to leaving her father’s pack and venturing elsewhere. Only thing she knew she needed was herself.
As Elettra and the other, Senka, began talking she quietly began to feel an irritated itch under her fur that no one else had bothered to show up. Where was their loyalty and their promptness? Not even Elettra’s new Alpha Male had bothered to show up… perhaps Willow Ridge was not exactly what she had thought it to be. That the ones who weren’t here now were slackers though she understood some were likely unable—watching could likely be relevant should they ask. Shaking that irritated feeling she looked to Senka expectantly and waited for their cue to move out and do what they had all arrived here to do.

Angier Lyall

The howl that had called across the land made Willow Ridge's most dominant male stop in his tracks, only to watch as Sköll, now considered as the most impish and annoying being in all of Relic Lore, scampered off into the space between two close-spaced hedges. The little devil had just made off with the Lyall's half of a groundhog, leaving Angier with his hunger pangs. He had to scowl; when dealing with the second-born Archer, there was just no other way to handle him. "Sköll!" he bellowed. "Get back 'ere!"

He counted to five in his head, listening for the boy's footsteps to circle around like they often did when the youngster felt like taunting the older male. One. Two. The bounding footsteps seemed like they were coming back. Three... Four. Angier's ears came forward and his pale eyes surveyed the landscape around him. Five. "NOW!" he sternly barked, the tone seemingly setting his eyes ablaze in a hard set glare. "...Or your mother will be hearing about it."

"That's it!" he eventually hollered into the dense hedge in front of him, thoroughly exasperated to the point that his tail had started to whip about in a stiff horizontal line at his back. "You're askin' fer it..." Scoffing to himself, he turned around without a second glance, setting off at a hasty lope through the willows.

The scene Angier came upon was as expected: Lady Elettra and the women most loyal to her. The only other Willow Ridge male, Guiness, he knew by now was busy with his own agenda, and it seemed only appropriate that he heeded this call. Though his tawny fur was held high and still rather bristled from the disobedient prince, the mask on his face straightened as he acknowledged them all in turn with a curt nod. Stepping towards Elettra, however, he subtly lowered his head touched his lips to her chin with the briefest of touches before pulling away from her, swaying off to one side to obediently await for further instruction. His bottlebrush-like tail curled up as he furrowed his whiskered brows, glancing over his shoulder in anticipation of Sköll's arrival.

Sköll Archer

sola bona quae honesta
Sköll Archer
Those things only are good which are honest

Sköll might have easily laughed in spite of the Lyall's anger if it wasn't for the meager helping of groundhog in his mouth. Either way, his tail wagged triumphantly in the air and he inwardly smiled in achieving his victory. No matter what Angier wailed or roared, this young Archer had succeeded in his devious task of stealing a bite to eat and intended to hang onto the feeling for quite some time... until Angier's last statement rung in his ears.

"That's it! You're asking fer it."

The trickster frowned and he heaved a sigh. He was going to be in trouble... again. Seriously, what else was new? Letting the spoiling half-corpse drop to the ground, Sköll kicked it away from him with a hind leg and darted after his superior, a growl erupting from his chest in the wake of pursuit. With his head held low and his tail level with his spine, he traipsed along Angier's trail, following it step by step until he caught the Lyall's expectant gaze staring back at him.

His swarthy brows touched one another as he averted his colorless eyes, stepping blindly towards his mother to nuzzle his forehead against her side. He moved in a way as to rub up against her until he stood perfectly parallel to her, his tail swaying once before settling as he sat down. For a few moments, his large ears swiveled back against his head but in assuming Angier was still watching him closely, he brought them back up, keeping his eyes trained on the women who had gathered around his mother. It had occurred to him then that he should have addressed them but, somehow, he struggled to utilize the word "Ladies" and "Ma'am" in an acceptable acknowledgement. Instead, he sat perfectly still, secretly mimicking Angier as he waited for the announcement that had brought them here.

allow me this moment of bliss so I may begin to miss the torment
It was understood what Elettra was allowing her to do so bowing her head in acceptance, Senka decided. "We can begin moving off, at a slow pace so any stragglers may have the chance catch up." Senka replied smoothly to Elettra, dutifully noting that only three wolves at current would be able to truly help out with this hunt, though she had no idea of their hunting prowess. "I don't wish to miscount our party and chose an utterly dismal prey, not if others are able to join us and we can do better." Senka might be coming off as a little boastful or wanting to stall the hunt and not wanting to truly show her abilities but she knew the dangers of leading a small hunting party. What if there were only larger deer that were sickly or injured? Three wolves were fine to take it down but she also knew nothing of their prowess. What if it was only up to one or two of them to take down the deer? Elettra would not be helpful in a frantic battle to take control of the beast and bring it down if two or more wolves weren't trying to do it. There was also the danger of being kicked or otherwise injured by the deer.

The herby smell that came off Elettra calmed her a bit but not enough to stop the worry. What would happen if one of them was kicked in the head, which could lead to death? What if she misjudged the strength of the sickly deer or how far away it really was from the herd? Nearly all those things were out of her control yet se didn't want any of it to happen. As a hunter, She had to be prepared for many things that could go wrong and what could go right in a hunt. And she always had to make sure she was doing the right things.

But before the small group could move off, Senka didn't fail to notice the two new arrivals. A male who, apart from Elettra he gave the slightest of kisses to her chin, was holding a dominant stance over all the women here except for Elettra as he stepped away and a puppy, who instantly went up to Elettra and nuzzled into her fur. So, this was the male alpha and at least one of her pups? Senka wouldn't push the issue as to the scent of the two leaders didn’t match up strongly. She knew it wasn't her place to question such a thing. "If that is everyone, we can begin the hunt." Curt and short, Senka twisted her body slightly and begun to lead the wolves gathered towards the hunting grounds. The pace was still slow enough for any last stragglers to catch up if needed. <b style="font-family:georgia; color:#fefefe;">
