Fianna couldn't help but lean forward. Anticipation swept through her small body like an electric current, making her quiver slightly. She looked almost as though she could take flight at any moment. Eyes of dark honey were trained toward spot she'd seen that bit of fur. There was rustling in the tall grasses, and she cocked an ear listening, nose twitching as she discerned his scent amid a myriad of autumnal smells. He smelled of warm fur, and musk, and pine. Fianna found that she quite liked it, but then again, any wolfish being would be a welcome sight at this point.
Finally he emerged, a lanky giant cloaked in silver and ivory with curious orange eyes. She watched those vibrant eyes as he looked her over and offered a crooked smile. Fianna offered her own foolish grin in return. Her tail wagged shyly as he made his circuit, turning her head to follow him as he trotted.
Fianna's own smile turned a little crooked at his words, and she lifted her brow, peering at him for a moment longer before doing her own little dance around him.
"Plans aren't really my thing," she said, trying to sound nonchalant, though the excitement was bubbling up through her. It had been so long since she'd spoken to anyone at all, let alone someone playful. At least he seemed to be playful. Fianna had little to no experience with deceit. "But I shall vanquish your foe!"
She darted off into the grass, gesturing with her head to bid him follow, her tail held aloft like a banner.
