She chuckled at his words of maybe he did or maybe he didn't. Silencing herself Silver listened to him tell about where he came from. Yawing silently she rested her head on his paws. "That sounds beautiful Rayne. Tell me more." Her eye filled with a wonder for the place he used to call home. Just in those few sentences it sounded like a paradise. It seemed to her that from his words everyone had full stomachs. A place where no one would starve, it was like a heaven.
Listening to Rayne and his heart beat she slowly slipped into a light sleep. Not yet fully asleep yet not fully conscious. The perfect state to be in. She felt safe to. Feeling the warmth off of Rayne yet being able to hear everything faintly made her know nothing wrong was going to happen. The howling of the wind was the only thing sending shivers down her back. It gave off a strange unsettling noise. Like someone was out there but no one really was. Just one of mother nature's many tricks. Mother Nature was always impressing Silver. With it's endless possibilities. Just like this very winter. It was a way of Mother Nature telling them she was strong and controlled fate. Silver held no doubt in it too.
In a comfortable spot pressed into Rayne she was finally slipping into a full sleep. Her breathing slowing down. The whole world around her becoming dark. Not even the howling of the winds disturbed her darkness of slumber. It was as if the whole world was sleeping altogether at once.
