Titan Thorben
One minute Titan was waiting for the adults to notice him and the next something or someone slams into his side. Titan barely manages to stay upright as he turns to look at his attacker. Only a glimpse was caught. A dark mottled boy his age, shorter than he, smaller than he, but more healthy than the Thorben was trying to attack him. Then Titan's ear caught the word Fuck! from his uncle right as the world turned white.

He thought that the other pup had somehow blinded him. Afraid and now pumping with adrenaline Titan jumped forward with his jaws open to catch Karpos. However his jaws met nothing but air and snow as it melted in his mouth to water. Instead a strong grip on his tail had made him slip sideways. He lay therefor a moment defeated by this invisible foe until standing back up awkwardly as the warmth of a body came up next to him.

"Ah!" Jumping at Tokino's voice right in his ear Titan tried to turn and look at him. However unlike he the older male had silvery white fur that blended in even better with the snow. Heck he couldn't even see his own dark fur upon his back for the snow was so thick.

Scared of all the white blinding him and unsure of what to do, Titan didn't need to be told to stick to Kino like glue. He did that naturally to the point where he might trip up the older male. Soon they were moving and Titan kept himself as close to that warmth as possible.

Narimé Lagina

Narimé hadn't heard any word on their plan. Instead all she heard was the wind picking up and a curse from someone. Her light blue gaze widened as the wolves before her disappeared in an instant and only a microsecond later she felt the full on blast of snow whack her in the face.

Anger seared through her. The first chance at a good meal and the weather would take that chance away. Snarling she wondered where Titan and Tokino had gone. They had been right near her. A pang of concern and worry went through the mother. She wanted to know where her son was.

The elk completely wiped itself from her thoughts as she moved to her left and right scenting for her pack mates. She barely had her blue eyes open as the snow pummeled her muzzle. It was too dangerous to move in such a blizzard. Or at least that was what she believed. However she wouldn't survive it if she didn't have anyone to hunker down and warm up next to. The only thing she could do was head for home and hope that someone had Titan with them.

After a few minutes of searching for Titan Nari gave up. Her fur whipped in the wind as ice crystals formed from her breath around her muzzle upon her whiskers. She had to try to get back home. As much as that shot anger and hurt through her heart. The worry of not knowing where her son had gone would dog every step she took southwards. Her heart breaking knowing that she couldn't do anything until the storm let up.

Aponi Donata

One second her head had contacted fur and Mercy was standing over top of her, and the next she couldn't see anything at all. Snow and wind whipped all around her and a cry instantly rose from her throat, Aponi could barely see the boy in front of her. She had been briefly knocked down by the other woman and now struggled to her feet, disoriented by the storm. Blue eyes flashed around trying to see any of her pack mates or any other wolf really, but she was completely blinded. Panicking the princess whimpered and pressed her side against Mercy's, looking for any kind of comfort she could get. Until then the silver girl had been trying to prove how grown up she was and how she didn't need any help, but now all she wanted was a guide.

It took her a minute before she realized...if she couldn't see anyone, no one could see her either, nobody would be coming to help. A steely resolve took over, her and Mercy wouldn't be left behind to freeze to death, they had got off the mountain and they would get out now. Aponi forced her voice to be steady as she called, "Come on Mercy," and started trudging towards what she hoped was home. She knew whether they were going the right way or not she would make it to trees eventually, and that would make it easier to see and get their bearings, they would make it home.

Kisla Baranski

She could feel the energy pull her forward -- the exhilaration of the hunt not stirred just by the elk not far off, but the two ebony wolves so very close within her reach. Athena drew along her side, and while there was no time for greeting, a chuff escaped her jowls, albeit in short breath from her exertion. Yet her teeth would meet nothing, and instead the head of a youthful fool met her shoulder with sudden force that stumbled her paws, slowing her drastically and giving the Keep wolves a chance for escape.

A snarl bubbled in her throat as she made to lash back, and yet she was surrounded by them instantly. Losing sight of Athena, Kisla halted her pace, tucking her muzzle low to protect her nape before she made to lunge. Yet another ebony cub placed himself between her and the fierce youth, causing Kisla's teeth to snap upon empty air as she pulled back from surprise. Once more, teeth ripped her flesh as another attack from her side was made, eliciting another snarl of rage from the she-wolf. She crouched lower then -- two cubs had been nothing, and yet now she was surrounded by three wolves in total. Her thought could not even complete itself before white suddenly washed before her.

Her lips pulled back in disgust, and the she-wolf took advantage of the snow to slip back further, concealing herself for the moment from her attackers. Her own peridot gaze would seek them out, hoping to blindside them as they had her -- her jaws begging to rip flesh of her own as her shoulder bled form the small wound the female had inflicted. Yet as much as the snow concealed her, it blanketed them as well, and their scent was soon lost upon the wind.

Maksim's howl rang out, stirring a grunt from Kisla. Athena was no longer by her side -- likely having continued her pursuit of the two males. Without another word, she slipped to the direction of his voice, knowing she would not truly find him. The best she could do was follow the scent of her pack mates to the safety of her home and repay the favor to Hollowheart Keep at another time.

Iopah Reinier
The Thicket wolves hung back, even as their own numbers grew.

Iopah longed to agree with Nina's speech. It was honorable. It was fair, even these desperate wolves would have to at least admit that. But as Iopah looked back to the scene unfolding and deteriorating she found herself unable to look back and nod in agreement. Her bad feeling had only intensified. These wolves would agree to nothing of the sort. Her tail lashed against the snow in frustration. Common sense, call it self-preservation, was winning out over her hunger.

Like Hollow, Iopah had forgotten Koda. When the male rushed into the thick of the mess a surprised growl erupted from her jaws. Courage was one thing, this seemed another. Didn't he realize a pack was meant to act as one? A single ivory foot stepped towards him. As if she planned to bodily drag him back and remind him of his loyalties. Then she caught herself and crouched in unabashed submission.

She turned to Nina and Hollow, an apology on her lips but was met with a swirl of white. She blinked and straightened, looking around to find the entire landscape sheeted in white. Her own tracks were steadily being swallowed up by the sudden snowfall. She huffed -loudly, so that her packmates could hear it through the thick, muffling snow. There was nothing to do here now, the snow had put a definite end to the hunt. Her frustration was subsiding into weariness and she began making her way back home. She had been here only a few days earlier with Coquina, and was confident of the way home, even with the thick snow. After a few steps she slowed to look behind her into the swirling whiteness and whoofed, encouraging her companions to follow.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
He waited for Maksim’s signal, his pale orbs watching the scene before him unfold. There were wolves – Kisla being one of them – charging the prey, while others were attempting to stop the attackers. As much as he wanted to lunge forward and join in, attempting to bring down the bull, Lachesis knew that it wasn’t time. He needed to wait for his leader’s command, or possibly suffer the consequences once they returned to Cut Rock. So, he waited, his hardened gaze shifting from his remaining pack mates to the prey, his jowls salivating at the thought of having a fresh meal. Having frozen meat was not comparable to the taste of a successful hunt.

Without warning the snow fall began to increase dramatically; a large volume of snowflakes were being dumped onto Relic Lore, making it near impossible for XIX to see both the bull and the wolves in the distance. Alarmed by the sudden blizzard, the yearling looked to Maksim to see what his position on the weather was. If the other pack abandoned the meat due to the snow there was a possibility that the Cut Rock wolves could bring it down. However, there was also a greater chance of them getting separated and the bull disappearing from the area. Failing a hunt was worse than not hunting at all, and XIX knew that his leader did not want to fail. It would take them more energy to attempt to bring down the deer as opposed to them returning back to the forest.

The call of his leader sounded, as if on cue, signaling the end of the hunt. The snow was only going to worsen; there was no point in wasting energy when they couldn’t even see the tip of their nose. Frustrated, the healer turned to head back to the forest, a frown etched across his muzzle as his stomach grumbled with disappointment.

Evann Atlas
And if I bleed, I'll bleed,
Knowing you don't care!
She hit her mark! Harder than she had planned, since the foolish attack from the pups had slowed the tawny female. Her teeth tore fur and skin, and she quickly parted them, turning her head away from her target; not wanting to wound her more severely. Her goal was to simply draw the attention of the enemy wolfess long enough for the youngsters to get away safely; Then I'll turn tail... Hopefully.

Not wasting any more thought on herself, she glanced at Mecy and Aponi and hissed a commanding: "Get a... away from here!" Before turning her eyes back to her opponent. The brown-mottled girl hadn't paid much attention to the snow when it first started falling, but now it was rapidly growing heavier, the white flakes already obscuring the senopia pelt of the other female, cold winds ripping at Evann's thin fur. She narrowed her eyes, trying for a moment to glimpse the other through the storm, while its howling only got louder, but then she gave up. In the distance she heard the calls of the other wolves, the blizzard had broken up the hunt, the prey escaping into the flurry, and all around her, wolves were retreading, running for cover in all directions; A smart move! She noted, shivering, and turned around to run back, heading straight for Hollowheart Keep and it's protective trees; she had been instructed to never reveal the location of the territory to strangers, always taking a detour home if there was anyone watching her retreat, but with the swirl of ice around her, she figured it would be safe to go straight; And staying out in this much longer, I'll freeze to death!

Gent Lieris

ooc: edited because i'm an asshole and didn't read anyone elses posts before.

Raw anger coursed through Gent's veins, spilling into his muscles and constricting his chest as the stupid beast escaped and the snow dropped down on them like stones of ice. He would not get his revenge today, and that almost blinded him with fury, more than missing a meal or the scattering of his pack. In a burst of hot air he expelled this rage in a resounding howl, frustrated now that he would not even be able to head directly home, but rather would have to skirt a long way round to soothe Naira's paranoia (though given the enemies he'd made for his pack, it was very possibly valid). He lost sight of Chulyin and the others that had been close by, and the fierce winds and blinding precipitation stole other signs that any of his sense might have caught, and so he knew that the best thing for him to do would be to focus on eventually making his way to the antique den site and hope the others could get their own bearings and join him in time. And if he were to be optimistic, he hoped a Cut Rock River wolf would decide to try and track after him, so that he could take out his frustrations on their hide.

Lalani Callahan
Just as quickly as the hunt and the battles had began, they ended. Within minutes the weather had changed, ambushing them. The clouds were gray and started to unleash their fury on the unsuspecting wolves below. While Lani had been able to watch the action going on father away, she was only able to see the prey escaping before her visibility lessened to almost nothing. Snow swirled in all directions, freezing their fur to their bodies. She tucked her ears close to her head and squinted against the gale. She tried to spot her pack members, the ones that had gone after the prey but couldn't see more than a couple feet in front of her. This isn't good. Lani knew they needed to get out of here and start heading home before they became stranded in the middle of no man's land.

She could hear a muffled howl on the wind. It sounded like Maksim. He was telling them to get the hell out of there. It was rather strange considering he couldn't have been too far from him, the snow and the wind were drowning out his voice. She quickly headed in the direction she thought it was coming from and soon spotted a figure in the snow. He was plowing threw it, back in the direction of Cur Rock River. Loping up to him, she walked beside him, pushing her way through the snow. While his mate or his second she be by his side, she wasn't trying to impose any rank. She was creating a path for the wolves behind them. While her and Mak had a rough start, she wasn't going to turn her back on him or the pack, so she soldiered on beside him, plowing a path for Quil. Hopefully the young one wouldn't get lost, and would know to stay close.
