Kass' light brown fur brushed up against a tree as he narrowly made his way through the marsh. His eyes focused as his paws crunched lightly in the light and fluffy snow. His eyes steadied as he looked ahead towards his target, plants that were budding as Spring took its own time to finally get into his grasp. He wanted spring badly and the winter had not been kind on the lone wolf. He was practically starving, finding it difficult to get a meal. What was worse was the fact that his fur was tattered and messed up more than it normally was. He had a bad feeling about it all.
Soon it would be pup season and so Kassander knew his window of opportunity to get into a pack was narrow. It was starting to open while closing at the same time. He knew the best time to get into a pack during the spring was after winter and before the pups were close to being born. "Davay Kass, vy mozhete sdelat' eto. Vy mozhete sdelat' eto." He whispered to himself with his eyes closed. He was trying to focus on what he was suppose to be doing. Truth was, the boy had no idea what he was doing. He took another deep breathe as he looked around the marsh. Surely there was something to eat there to sedate his stomach until he could find something else. He doubted there was any prey in the area, but he knew there were certain plants and herbs that could help.
That was what the boy loved about learning and knowledge. The fact that it helped so much in life itself.
